Bloggers Buff 2008, PWTC

November 28th, 2008, Jason

So… I was one of the four invited guests, alongside with Sidney from “Big Boys Oven“, Gina from “Mini Bites” and Khai Ling from “KL For Khai Ling“, to share our experience and personal thoughts about blogging (Reaching out and I chose to be a blogger, two topics.) in Bloggers Buff 2008, held at PWTC on November 22.

Sidney, who is the public relation cum marketing manager behind “Big Boys Oven” who provides baking classes, bakes wedding cakes and etc..

Gina, a writer by profession who specializes in writing poems and other artsy stuffs.

Khai Ling who blogs about the night life or her clubbing outings in KL. Her facial expression reminds me of a rabbit or rat. Heh!

From left, the moderator, Felicia, Khai Ling and Gina. Honestly, Felicia was extremely nervous, so nervous till at one point, I thought she was going to faint from it.

While the crowd was a little unexpected, I had a good time sharing my own experience. On top of that, it was my first time being invited as a blogger to talk cock share my thoughts. Heh! Another tiny yet significant milestone for me, as a blogger.

I tried my best not to bore the audience out as generally, I am still a rather boring and dull person. Surprisingly, a few audience came up to me during the break and complimented that I was a pretty funny guy.

Two of them, Jason from Jason Mumbles and CMate from Mini-Bites were interesting enough. - Bloggers Buff 2008 by Kavi.

One of the organizers, Tim Fernandez even offered to feature me as their Malaysian blogger in their online magazine. Okayyyy… Now, that’s scary. Not counting on it actually, but still, WTF. Seriously, me, funny? And I thought my jokes are bad.

That being said, I am feeling pretty proud shiok sendiri about it.

P/S : Thanks to Chong for staying back to help me take pictures.

It Was My Birthday

February 27th, 2008, Jason

Last Saturday, February 23, was my 24th birthday.

Special thanks to my parents who brought me to this world and also Pei San, Suet Lei and Yih Tian for celebrating my birthday with me.

And of course, thanks to everyone who wished me. Apparently, not many people remember my birthday.

Chevrolet 2008 Concept Camaro, Bumblebee

January 25th, 2008, Jason

While Narrowband bought a Ferrari F430 for himself, I was given a Chevrolet 2008 Concept Camaro by Nee as a Christmas present.

Just look at the sexy curves, racing stripes, custom paint job and sleek wheels, ain’t it a beauty?

It didn’t just end there.

I got a car and it turned out to be an alien robot. Who knew?

You feeling lucky, punk?

Just kidding, I just wanted to show him my canons.

Plays “Before Its Too Late” by Goo Goo Dolls in the background. You can download the song from here.

Anymore question you wanna ask? -opens door-

I feel so much like a kid again!

P/S : Been watching too many Transformers till I remember most of the lines in the movie.

Well, that basically summarized my 2007, in a very much general way. There are more finer details throughout the year but those are omitted. The numerous eating trip to Kuala Lumpur, outings and meeting up with new and old bloggers / friends, sweet little things that you guys and girls did for me and many more. Life has been wonderful and colourful because of you guys. Also, I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone that have helped me one way or another, be it financially or emotionally. You guys have been a great help and friend. You know who you are, there are just simply too many to mention.

Overall, I think I did pretty well for the year 2007 which I felt I have achieved more stuffs in terms of goals, achievements and materialistic wise. However, what’s not good are my academic studies and year 2007 was pretty harsh on me, emotional wise. Well, things have subdued for now and hopefully, things will start to look better for year 2008 especially for my academic.

Resolution for the new year? None, as usual. I don’t see the point of setting goals but yet not being able to achieve after 12 months. I prefer to take things easy and set it accordingly. However, I do know what I want to do and hopefully, execution will be smooth. Wish me luck.

Happy New Year and may you have a blessed 2008!

See you in 2008!
