You do not know where is Tampin? Easy. Find your way to A’ Famosa Golf Resort, Water World and Safari and you are in Tampin. If you are using the North-South Highway, the exit will be Simpang Empat / Alor Gajah, which will lead you to A’ Famosa Golf Resort as well. Basically, it is a small border town between Negeri Sembilan and Malacca. The main road is only 2km long, with the first 1km on the Negeri Sembilan’s side while the other 1km is on the Malacca’s side. There is nothing much to do in Tampin and by 10PM, it will be a dead town.

I love to eat, in terms of quality and also quantity. It is no joke that I eat almost anything and everything. My favourites are chilies, hot and spicy stuffs. Every trimester break, I will try to make a trip to KL to meet up with friends and also to try out the delicious food available. I spend 90% of my pocket money on food, and I do not mind driving few hundred kilometers away just to eat good food. They say my stomach is like a bottomless pit, and I kind of agree to it. If you want to cheer me up, just serve something delicious and that will do the job.

My all time favourite artist is Beyonce Knowles and Destiny’s Child. Trust me, I can play her “Dangerously In Love” album for 1 whole week, repeating again and again until my housemates had to shout at me to stop me from playing her songs. I listen to Chinese pop songs as well. My favourite artist is Emil Chau. I know he is old, but who cares as long as I love him. Nowadays, Chinese’s musics are getting “weird”.

I play arcade games on my computer and arcade center. Most of the time, I play KOF (King Of Fighters) series. My all time favourite characters are Terry Bogard, Benimaru Nikaido and Iori Yagami. Nonetheless, I play Garou : Mark Of The Wolves too. I consider myself as an expert user of Rock Howard and Terry Bogard. Once in a while, I play Guilty Gear XX as well.

I have this “fetish” of watching movies alone too. Movies that I had watched alone are New Police Story, The Terminal, Resident Evil 2, Ladder 49, Yesterday Once More, Spiderman 2, Shark Tale, Hitch, War Of The Worlds, Fantastic Four, Hostage, The Island, Stealth, 7 Swords, Flight Plan, Madagascar, Finding Nemo, Mr. And Mrs. Smith, Batman Begins, Breaking News, Guess Who, Kung Fu Mahjong, The Pacifier, The Myth, Goal, Doom, The Legend Of Zorro 2, Sound Of Thunder and the list goes on.

I am working for The Star as a stringer / journalist. Most of the time, I write about local news, but my specialty are events and happenings and food. If you do read Metro South & East, chances of you seeing my name “Jason Lioh” at the byline is quite high too, particularly the page 6 and page 7. Although I shouldn’t reveal too much information on my job, no doubt that more and more people know that I am writing for The Star. It’s a bit useless to protect my identity now.
