Help Nian Ning’s Family, Fight With Them
While I do not know Chung Lern or Nian Ning personally, but being in the blogsphere long enough, I have heard the name Chung Lern a number of times, from friends like Yee Hou, Jolene and even saw the name on The R.age pullout.
Bus related accidents that have taken lives are not new anymore. We have read it on the newspaper a couple of times and nothing has been done by the authorities so far. However, this is the first (and hopefully, the last) accident that involved a friend (albeit indirectly) and a life has been taken away. Sad.
Reports by The Star.
Two killed, 24 hurt in bus crash.
Bus crash: Driver had 13 outstanding summonses.
Family mourns loss of beautiful, intelligent go-getter.
Hence, I am posting this up in spreading the news and requests by Chung Lern and Nian Ning’s families. Do pass the message around and all forms of help would be generally appreciated.
Chung Lern and Nian Ning’s families would like all families and friends of the victims, dead or alive, in the Slim River Bus Crash to come forward and join them in taking action against the bus company. Stand up to seek justice for these three innocent individuals, who were all so young and full of life.
If you have a blog, please call out to anyone who knows someone who survived or did not survive the crash to come forward to join the Lee family.
Make a huge difference, make a huge fuss.
For now, you may contact Lee Chung Lern at chunglern@gmail.com or preferably on his mobile phone at 012-6670368.
Do your part by doing the right thing and forwarding / posting the message around.
A number of bloggers (particularly the heavy weights) are in talks of starting a petition to do what we can do. However, as everything is still under planning stage, more information will be revealed as time goes by and any suggestions are more than welcomed to be posted at Jolene’s blog.
Blog Bus Crash No More has been setup to coordinate all relevant activities and news regarding about Nian Ning’s case and bus crash incidents.
Comments are closed in respect of the deceased.
