My Desktop Wallpapers
99.9% of the time, I don’t do tags because I don’t see the meaning behind these tags and these days, tags are all about getting a link back (monetizing purposes). For your information, I only did one tag throughout my 3 whole blogging years. That aside, some of the tags are rather interesting and serves a purpose. However, I somehow reluctant to do tags, that’s all. Recently, I read a tag about desktop wallpaper at Kee Yit’s.
I only have a few wallpapers which I really like / use quite often. In fact, I only rotate my wallpapers among these fews. Well, here goes.
Transformers. Blackout, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. Among all the Transformers featured in the movie, I really like Blackout, Ironhide and Barricade the most. However, the pose for Ironhide’s and Barricade’s wallpaper was ugly. Hence, I didn’t download them.
One of the default wallpapers in Windows Vista, grass.
Nee specially made these wallpapers upon my request when I got my notebook. As for the third wallpaper, it’s a post / text that has certain meaning in it.
Last but not least, wallpapers of herself specially made by sis JiNz. Among the 1500+ pictures she took during her last trip, she picked a few and made them into wallpaper. I did ask her to make one for me even before I got my notebook but only now I got it.
If you take a closer look at my desktop, there aren’t any icons there. Not even the recycle bin. I like my desktop to be clean and I certainly don’t like any icons to spoil the wallpapers.
Moreover, I had all the programs that I would use (Yes, all of them!) pinned at the Start Bar. Hence, all programs are still accessible by 2 mouse clicks, just the same as 1 double click on the shortcuts on the desktops.
I also find that with the task bar at the top of the screen is better than the bottom of the screen. Most of the time, my mouse would be lingering at the upper half of the screen and important tools / short cuts / icons are at the top of most programs too. Hence, by placing the task bar at the top of the screen, it sorts of saved a nano-second and some distance in moving the mouse from point A to point B.
So, what’s your desktop looks like? Mind sharing? Ha! No, this is not a tag.

Mine is still the same old XP theme I’ve been using since the day this PC arrived.
It’s just a mere 5 seconds or less I usually spend looking at my desktop wallpaper, that’s when the PC is booted. For the rest of time I have many applications covering it, so no need to put whatever wallpaper. Hehe…

I am already used with having the task bar at the bottom..
Actually this is the first time I see people having the task bar on the top..
Having own sister picture as a wallpaper is certainly weird for me..
Transformer certainly have it’s effect over Homo Sapiens..

My wallpaper is the saddest thing.
Anyway, on a pretty unrelated note, I like Nee’s outfit (white long sweatshirt with pockets?) on her second wallpaper. Very cute. Can help me ask her where she bought it from? Hehe.

Broken : It was very weird for me when I first put the task bar at the top but it was just within few hours that I got used to it and love it lots. You should try it too, it’s better than putting it at the bottom. She’s not my blood-related sis. :P

Yeah, mine desktop also without a single icon for many years (probably since Windows95) !!! :-)
now? is the beach photo i took 2 weeks ago at PD. before that was the Earth from Space, NASA site give a lot of Hi-REs Space photos, nice …
