November 9

October 29th, 2007, Jason

Nope. This is not an update; although it looks like one, actually, its not. I say it is not an update, hence, it is not an update.

This is just a mere notification and small announcement to my readers and blog visitors that

1) I didn’t quit blogging.
2) I am still taking my break.
3) I am not hospitalized or hurt or dead.
4) I am not physically and mentally disconnected from the matrix internet.
5) I still haven’t read enough comments saying that they miss me.

November 9, stay tune.

Rest

October 10th, 2007, Jason

I am going to take a short break from blogging.

Not very long, maybe just a few days, a week or so. I ran out of blogging materials and to update my blog without a specific topic in my mind is a chore.

P/S :

Holidays have started and most likely, I will be seeing some of you in KL very soon. I am craving for a good meal of Bak Kut Teh and some sushis.

Selamat Hari Raya to all my Muslim readers (I know I have 1 or 2 readers.) and happy holidays to all MMU students.

Everything that has a beginning, has an end.

It’s just a matter of how it ends.

Why I Want To Eat At Friday’s?

October 6th, 2007, Jason

One reason and I believe, there’s no better reasons than this.

I never dine at Friday’s before.

Shut up. -covers face-

Well, almost a year back, I had this one chance to have a free meal at Friday’s as Emily promised to buy me a meal at Friday’s, treating me to their combo appetizers or something like that. She said the combo plate consisted of buffalo wings and two more appetizers, hence, she could never finish it all by herself. Knowing that I have a very big appetite, I would be the ideal friend to dine at Fridays with.

Fast forward 365 days later, I have yet to dine at Friday’s.

That aside, whenever I am in KL to meet bloggers and friends, they are not really keen with the idea of having western food for meals. They prefer something more towards the east. However, I am seriously a huge fan of medium well steak and I always welcome those big, fat, tender and juicy rib eyes with open hands open heart open stomach. As the minority has to follow the majority, again, I have yet to dine at Friday’s.

Who can resists the colourful dishes displayed in their menus? Man, look at those pictures, makes me just want to chew on them. On top of that, it’s only RM39.90 for a three course meal. Where else can you get that price for the same amount of delicious food? I doubt there is, anyway. I am sure it’s definitely going to taste awfully delicious and get me wanting for more, despite that I have yet to dine at Friday’s, but I don’t think they will dish you yucky food anyway.

And can some one please explain or elaborate what is this mud slide that Gallivanter crowned as the ultimate mud slide? Picture grabbed from his blog, by the way.

Oh oh! I read from many blogs that the waiters and waitresses will sing you the “Happy Birthday” song if you dine at the restaurant on your birthday. I saw some pictures of the birthday girl / boy was made to stand on the chair while they sang the song. I am not seeing things, right? Although I am not one who craves for attention, that move is really a niche one. The more the merrier, right? Heh! Again, I can’t verify my facts because I have yet to dine at Friday’s. Seeing is believing, right?

Friday is the last day of our work and the beginning of two days of fun and rest. Certainly, there’s no place to celebrate Friday’s evening than Friday’s because Friday’s serve delicious food (to soothe your little tummy after four days of awful dinner), relaxing and nice ambiance to chill out (after facing five days of cubicle and dully painted walls) and of course, it’s TGIF. Duh! Apple polishing sial.

I think there’s enough reasons for me to get invited as one of the 50 Nuffnang-ers to the free meals at Friday’s already, right? -cross fingers-

By the way, why hasn’t the Friday’s management thought of opening a branch in this historical city? They have covered north and central, but not south. Why? I We need some decent food and a higher class of restaurant here!

I want to dine at Fridays, please.

P/S : As for the RM1,000 grand prize, instead of cracking your head to pick the best entry, why not pick the one and only blogger (I think I am the only one. At least I think I am. Am I?) that has yet to dine at Friday’s before. Heh!
