This is my Logitech MX610 Laser Cordless Mouse, given to me as my 22nd birthday by Nee.

The mouse is so nicely design and ergonomic to use that it puts all other mouse out there to shame. That’s only for the shape and design, yet to compare the intelligence of the mouse. With the software provided and the up to 11 programmable buttons, it totally make my computer usage and web surfing experience a pleasant and easy one. I can reload, back, forward, open new tabs, close tabs, maximize, close, play, pause, control the volume all at my mouse and without moving the cursor to the respective buttons. Best of all, I can configure all the buttons into any shortcut to fit into any programs that I like.

How much was the mouse? RM215.
Now, just when I thought I had enough bad luck or bad memories, something like this just have to happen.
This was how my pen drive lookalike receiver looked like and supposed to look like.

After this morning rush hour, the receiver now look like the picture below.

Yes, my receiver broke into two! Best of all, the USB part is still stuck inside the USB port! I got it out not too long after that, using a small clipper.

FCUK! FCUK! FCUK!
I woke up rather late for my assignment and for this assignment, I needed to bring my notebook along. As I was late, I tend to rush everything and do things quickly. I quickly stuffed my notebook into my bag and headed out to work. Only to realize that I have forgotten to unplug the receiver when I opened my notebook to write my story. And by that time, it has already broken into two!
FCUK! FCUK! FCUK!
Such a dumb ass, me, that is.
However, not all hope is lost yet. Logitech is so confident with their product that they give 5 years warranty to most of their products and my mouse is just one of them. It’s always good to invest a little bit more for a quality product. Hopefully, I can claim back a receiver (with a small fee?) and get my mouse back. Else, I think I am going to rob a computer shop for the receiver or hopefully not, buying a new one.
As for now, the mouse is as good as dead. Sighs.
Sorry, girl.
