2007 Astro Talent Quest

June 28th, 2007, Jason

Top 12 finalist of the 2007 Astro Talent Quest were in town for a performance. I don’t know their names or I want to know them either. Yet, I can’t help it but start thinking that whether some of the male performers are gay / sissy or going to be gay / sissy. No prizes for guessing which one is my favourite too. Look at her legs, damn beautiful. Short hair too! Ha!

P/S : I hate ISO 400.

Guess Who’s Featured In The Media?

June 26th, 2007, Jason

Sad to say, it isn’t me. -sniff sniff-

Yet, still happy because I know the blogger quite well. Need no more introduction, I hope.

Chinese celebrity blogger - JiNz.

Why do you blog?

A method to express my feelings and emotions. Sometimes, its about sharing my life’s happy moments, little findings, pouring out my anxieties, difficulties, or my uncertain future. All these up and down emotions are clearer and more organized when I conclude them with my wordings. I can see myself clearer and the changes in my inner self.

For who do you blog?

I was my blog’s only reader. It was later that a blog circle was formed and started to use wordings to socialize with other bloggers. I often visit other blogs. When I read one of the posts, I am attracted to read other blog posts and started to follow its progress, becoming his or her blog’s loyal reader.

Do you go all out when you blog about certain issues or just rant or speak out what’s in your mind?

I will hold back, after all, I don’t know who is my next reader and I have to be responsible for what I have written. If possible, I don’t blog issues related to my work and I usually don’t point out names in my post. I write more about myself, my thoughts and my experience. ;)

What’s your blog’s type / gene? Why?

More on my life stories, what I have thought, what I have seen, all translated into text and jotted down. Twenty or thirty years later, it will be an interesting thing to do, to look back what I have understood from the situation, how the situation affected my thoughts and the changes have occurred inside me.

From a business management point of view, what type of store (blog) do you think you are operating? How are you going to attract more readers and turn them into your loyal readers?

It’s more like operating a magazine publication firm. I have to deal with editing, photography, proof reading and marketing, all by myself. On top of that, I can choose whatever styles and themes that I like, including the text and pictures used. Get to know each other, leave comments and attend bloggers’ gathering. It’s easier to click with bloggers as everyone uses text to communicate and express themselves, and a friendship will grow from there.

Which blog platform do you use and why?

Blogspot.

Blogspot. No specific reason but rather because I got to know it the earliest and its very easy to operate. There’s no reason to change to another platform after getting used to this one.

P/S : Is my translated text usable? Readable? Understandable?

Dead Mouse

June 24th, 2007, Jason

This is my Logitech MX610 Laser Cordless Mouse, given to me as my 22nd birthday by Nee.

The mouse is so nicely design and ergonomic to use that it puts all other mouse out there to shame. That’s only for the shape and design, yet to compare the intelligence of the mouse. With the software provided and the up to 11 programmable buttons, it totally make my computer usage and web surfing experience a pleasant and easy one. I can reload, back, forward, open new tabs, close tabs, maximize, close, play, pause, control the volume all at my mouse and without moving the cursor to the respective buttons. Best of all, I can configure all the buttons into any shortcut to fit into any programs that I like.

How much was the mouse? RM215.

Now, just when I thought I had enough bad luck or bad memories, something like this just have to happen.

This was how my pen drive lookalike receiver looked like and supposed to look like.

After this morning rush hour, the receiver now look like the picture below.

Yes, my receiver broke into two! Best of all, the USB part is still stuck inside the USB port! I got it out not too long after that, using a small clipper.

FCUK! FCUK! FCUK!

I woke up rather late for my assignment and for this assignment, I needed to bring my notebook along. As I was late, I tend to rush everything and do things quickly. I quickly stuffed my notebook into my bag and headed out to work. Only to realize that I have forgotten to unplug the receiver when I opened my notebook to write my story. And by that time, it has already broken into two!

FCUK! FCUK! FCUK!

Such a dumb ass, me, that is.

However, not all hope is lost yet. Logitech is so confident with their product that they give 5 years warranty to most of their products and my mouse is just one of them. It’s always good to invest a little bit more for a quality product. Hopefully, I can claim back a receiver (with a small fee?) and get my mouse back. Else, I think I am going to rob a computer shop for the receiver or hopefully not, buying a new one.

As for now, the mouse is as good as dead. Sighs.

Sorry, girl.

June 22nd, 2007, Jason

I was speed reading SnowxWhite’s blog when suddenly a sentence caught my eyes. I stopped scrolling my mouse for a moment and took a few minutes to read the post. Her blog is written in Mandarin, hence, you can skip visiting her blog if you don’t know the language. However, she’s a SYT, cute and pretty. Schooling some more! A celebrity blogger among the Chinese blogging community, in fact.

Among three individuals, the one not being loved is the third party.

Loosely translated, that is. Mean yet its true.

I hesitated for a while and I don’t think I need to write more, right?

P/S : Nothing to do with me, just that the sentence caught my attention, that’s all.

Feeling Low

June 20th, 2007, Jason

I am back, but I need some time to sort things out especially my academic matters. There are so many things running in my mind. waiting to be spoken out but she’s busy for now. Blog postings to write but don’t know where and how to start. Questions that have no answer yet need to be answered. Guilt that haunts me. People that need to be apologized to. People to stay away from. Unpleasant memories that need to be forgotten. Notes to be read. Tutorials to be done. Classes to be attended.

Oh well… Fruits, anyone?
