Jinwern, The Next MIA Ambassador?
I don’t know whether is it pure coincidence or it is just meant to be that way. Whenever I happily messaged Jinlan’s younger sister, Jinwern, she would sure to tell me that she’s now in the running for the finalist for some competition and would be glad that if I can help her to vote and ask my readers to vote too.
Eeessshhh…! Every time also like that. I hope next time it would be something else, Jinwern! You hear me? Blek!
This time, she is now in the top 20 for the Malaysia International Aerospace Ambassador Search competition, a competition organized by Malaysia International Aerospace and the tourism ministry in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007. I couldn’t find much information on the official website, which is very badly designed by the way. Hence, lets skip all that part and go to the prizes part.
The top 8 finalists are on their way to win the following prizes :
1st Prize: RM12,000 cash
2nd Prize: RM8,000 cash
3rd Prize: RM5,000 cash
5x Finalists: RM2,000 cash each
12xSubsidiary Titles: RM250 cash each
Isn’t that a very huge sum of money for a competition like this? RM30,000 to be given away just like that. Gulp. Anyway, Jinwern is in the top 20 and requires your little help and money to vote her into the top 8.
To vote, you need to
1) Take out your mobile phone and create new message.
2) Type “F8 14“. (Take note of the space.)
3) Send to 39993.
4) Repeat steps 1 to 3. (At least vote twice lah!)Note : Each SMS will cost you RM0.50 + 1 SMS charges according to your service provide.
Come on, give this little girl a little hope to enter top 8. Just RM0.65 per SMS and a little 10 seconds to type that SMS and you have given her another hope and chance to win that at least, RM2,000 cash prize.
See, so cute and pretty, you don’t have the heart to not to vote for her, right? Right? RIGHT?
