Installation & Suspension

I was supposed to update my blog tonight but I just managed to lay my hands on a copy of original Windows Vista and I am in the process of installing it. Hence, all updates will be suspended until my notebook is up and running.

Update at 0120 : Installing Windows Vista.
Update at 0200 : Windows Vista installed.
Update at 0215 : Troubleshooting LAN and internet connection with Raymond.
Update at 0250 : Connected.
Update at 0323 : Installed Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger.
Update at 0400 : Installed Microsoft Office.
Update at 0430 : Configured all the major and minor details of my programs.
Update at 0500 : Minor troubleshooting with Raymond.
Update at 0520 : Transferring files.
Update at 0730 : Transferring files and off to bed.
Update at 1400 : Transferring files.
Update at 1600 : Installed required softwares.
Update at 1630 : Troubleshooting video and audio codecs.
Update at 2000 : Done!

    Why you still need to reinstall Vista, Office, etc?

    btw can we install ‘pirated’ Office to Vista? shhhhh

    get office 2007 leh….to ‘match’ the Vista…
    oh vista business? not ultimate? dont get the enterprise. it does not support the burning of DVD / CD as told by MS people.

    Vista is alright, i have been using it for many months liao…

    Bryan : So far no problem.

    Clement : The cool factor is there. :) Will try to do a print screen soon. Stay tune. However, to me, Vista is just another extremely beautified operating system. Heh! If you are a sucker for beautiful things, then go for Vista. Else, XP will do.

    Lee CS : Am using Office 2007. Haha! Other than it looks nicer than XP, I find it nothing special so far.

    H4RRY : That’s because I don’t want to buy a MAC and I can’t afford. :)
