Bye, Yuk Peng! Hello, Marsha!
Lee Yuk Peng, my editor cum teacher, who took me into her “training academy” and trained me up to be a stringer / journalist since 11 months ago. I am her 14th stringer and there’s no doubt why others see her office as the training ground and academy of producing stringers and future journalist.
Barely a year, she broke the news to us that she would be promoted transferred back to Menara Star at Petaling Jaya and a new boss would be taking over the bureau.

Yuk Peng,
It was really my pleasure to be trained by you, work for you and work with you throughout the past 11 months. Not only had you opened a door of opportunities for me, you have shown me a path that I could walk on with my interest for writing.
Thank you for all the patience and guidance all this while. Certainly, I have learned a lot from you and there are much more to learn from you. On top of that, you have showed me a lot of things that I never know and also gave me the chance to experience things that not many people get to.
All the best in your future undertakings and I hope to join you and work with you again in near future.
Jason.
Out goes Yuk Peng, here comes Marsha Tan from the Johor Bahru’s bureau.

Marsha, 26, is the newest bureau chief for the Malacca office. She has a degree in TES (Teaching English as a Second language) but teaching wasn’t something that she wanted. She joined The Star approximately 4 years and 9 months ago (Coincidently, the same time when Yuk Peng took over the Malacca office.) and has been reporting for the Johor Bahru office since then.
Welcome to Malacca, Marsha!
P/S : She doesn’t know my blog’s URL yet. -lol-

Jamie : That’s because everyone was forced to do something that he or she didn’t know or like it in the first place, only to realize that he or she wanted something else.
Consuela : You know her sister? Gasp. The world sure is small. What’s her sister’s link?
MengZ : Well, The Star didn’t state you need a degree in relevant field to be a reporter.
Boss Lepton : Don’t be so bad! :P Let her find out herself.
Cely : I still prefer to work from home, because the petrol to go town every day is not cheap.
Boss Stewie : ;)
Giovoni : Hopefully, she is my 贵人.
Bryan : Single and available, I think.
Narrowband : Haha! Later if she pimps my URL on the newspaper, that would be even better.
Splashmilk : Why would they need stringer when they have reporters in HQ itself? Ha!
Tien Soon : It will take some time before Google indexed the term for my blog. Yes, young and good looking, single and available too! Ha!
