Wong Chun Kit, better known as Ah Kit, is one of my best friends brothers that I got to know for 16 years or since standard 1. Over the years, our friendships are built with trust, respect, fun, mutual understanding and even more fun. It’s not easy to maintain a friendship, what more for a 16 years of friendship that hasn’t fade away despite the time and distance.

Among Ah Yong (Chee Yong), Ah Kit and myself, Ah Kit is the most sensible and rational person. Everything he does, there must be a strong and valid reason to support his action. Think twice and deeply is what he does before coming to any decision or conclusion; making him the least craziest person among us.

“你们冷静一点!　不要酱冲动！”
“Please calm down! Don’t be so impulsive!”

Apart from that, he knows where and how to get the best deal for himself, his family and us. He is always the one that is responsible for accommodations whenever his family or us want to go for a holiday. I remembered he booked the room at Strawberry Park, Cameron Highlands during our Cameron Highlands - Penang trip for 50% off from the actual price. When we were at Penang and didn’t know where to stay, he got us the Crown Jewel Hotel at Batu Ferringgi for RM113 per night. He’s not stingy, just that he wants to get something that is worth the money and at the best deal. There are times when we see him spending too! -wink-

He’s one that finds interest with economy, socio-economy and stock markets. God knows how long he spent reading the economy section of the papers everyday. Every afternoon, he will be sitting in front of the computer monitoring the latest stock price. If not mistaken, he does own a few shares.

Having the faith and trust in him, we tend to let him handle our money whenever we go for outings. After all, he’s the most responsible and sensible among us. If the money is given to me, I don’t think I can trace back where the money went and all are spent on food instead. In fact, if we are to start our own business, he is definitely going to be the treasure and financial consultant. -lol-

He’s not a leader, more like a follower most of the time. If he ever comes up with a suggestion, it will be a good one. Other than that, most likely he will be following the group or Ah Yong. He’s a homely person too. If there’s nothing important going on, he prefers to stay and bunk in at home compare to anything else. Even when he’s studying at UKM, it’s the same. If nothing important, he will just bunk in at the student house. He spends most of his weekend with his family, going Malacca or Seremban.

He’s the kindest guy among us too. Caring and observant, he’s almost too nice to say ‘no’ to you. You hardly hear him rant about his friends, college mates or group mates even though I heard it few times. -lol- He’s a quiet and shy person as well. He had missed a few chances to get to know girls because of this and Ah Yong and me had to give him the extra ’scolding’ or ‘teasing’ to give him the courage. Hence, he’s still single until now!

Oh, I nearly forgot, he loves Winnie the Pooh. What’s so cute about that bear?
