Chinese New Year 2007

Finally, I have done my shopping for 2007’s Chinese New Year on 15th February, three days before Chinese New Year. All it took was less than 20 minutes or less in Giordano and Body Glove. No fancy designs and colours, just plain coloured T-shirts and polo T-shirts.

Total damage? RM150.

Equivalent to 15 meals of asam pedas, 15 rounds of beef bah kut teh, 75 rolls of pohpiah, 6 plates of tenderloin steak, 100 plates of dim sums, 3kg of mille crepe, 15 rounds of banana leaf rice with chicken and mutton, 30 plates of tandoori chicken, 40 pieces of grilled burger, 15 stalks of calla lilies, 2 full tanks of petrol, 9 trips to KL, 300 sticks of satay celup, 40 bowls of longkang mee, 100 sticks of ayam percik, 1 512MB memory stick duo, 25 meals for lunch or dinner…

If not because of the “pressure” of wearing new clothes during Chinese New Year, trust me, I will not buy them and spend them on food, gadgets, groceries or just save it for food instead.

These should be my clothes / wardrobe for 2007 as I only stock in new clothes during Chinese New Year, unless need arises. That’s why you always see me wearing the same clothes in my blog’s pictures.

I need to get a long sleeve working shirt too as somebody (you know who you are) sort of adores to it. I don’t know why though.

Before that…

Happy Chinese New Year!

Gong Xi Fatt Chai!

新年快乐!

恭喜发财!

I’m so the opposite of you- i don’t buy clothes when it’s absolutely necessary. :P

Having said that, I don’t remember when was the last time I bought new clothes. Didn’t pick up anything during the xmas sales :P

And.. the moment i started reading, I knew you shopped at Bodyglove lol

And 150Rm is way better than spending Rm60 on 3 stalks of roses, which will wilt in.. say.. a week? :P(just pulling your legs lah)

Moopig : Haha! I am also the same like you and I really need these new clothes because my 2006’s clothes can’t be worn outside the house / to town anymore. Really damn “chan” already.

Even though you don’t buy new clothes, you like designer’s handbags and shoes. Ha!

If its not Giordano, then must be Body Glove. If its not Body Glove, then its Giordano. Haha! Think I need to go for the US brand name already as the cutting is getting smaller and smaller. Neh, I am just getting fatter. LOL.

    Eee… -pain pain- Wait a minute… How did you…

Surfnux : Happy CNY to you too!

Jesslyn : Got. Only one. Haha!

Che-Cheh : Haha! Well, these shirts are going to be worn throughout 2007, so buy black would last longer than red.

Robin : Happy CNY to you too!

FireHorse : That applies to you as well. ;)

    Madeleine : Yaloh, finally.

Well according to Xuan Kong Fei Xing almanac for Ding Hai 2007 that is available in most bookshops, here is what might happen to Fire Boar Jason (just want to test out my predictions):

March: Someone (gui ren) might help you out in your career or studies.

April: Beware of losing money! Things that might go wrong have a big chance to do so.

    May: Feelings of love manifest.

June: You have a tendency to quarrel. Be patience. If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.

July: Rest and take care of your health.

August: An auspicious time for new beginnings. Many surprises await you.

September: Oh my - you’ll spend like there is no tomorrow. Spend wisely.

October: An opportunity to earn some money.

November: And the money you earn will be spent.

…from here until 2008 - Big time gui ren will appear…

Debbie : Are you thattttttttttttttt busy? Well, no matter how busy you are, please take care of yourself, ok? Thanks for dropping by too! Please update your blog more often too!

Endroo G : Thank you very much for your well wishes.

Boss Stewie : You don’t need to, you have more than enough of Armani shirts already.

Giovoni : If its going to come true, I am going to be so glad. But usually, these things never happen on me. Sighs.

Waisikmiao : Happy CNY to you too.
