Yea Lee, Ying Qi And Edwin

You never know how small the world can be since the existence of Internet and blogs. Read further…

Yea Lee is an avid reader / primary schoolmate of Carol’s blog. One day, she blog hopped from Carol’s blog to mine, and since then, she has been my blog’s reader. Yea Lee is currently pursuing dentistry in Australia and is back in Malaysia for her almost 2 months long holidays.

Now, since she was on her way back from KL to Kluang, she and her two friends, Ying Qi and Edwin decided to make a pit stop at Malacca. Hence, the meet up with Yea Lee and 2 new random friends.

Ying Qi,

Edwin,

and Yea Lee.

Long story cut short, Yea Lee and I had lunch at Nadeje Patisserie before Edwin and Ying Qi joined us at a later time. Each time I visit Nadeje Patisserie, there will be 1 or 2 new flavours and type of cakes. I am starting to lost count of its “products” already.

We then parked our car somewhere near the stage at Jonker Street. From there, the routine began. The routine - eat chendol, stroll along Jonker Street (late afternoon), visit Stadhuys, clock tower, St. Paul’s Hill, A Famosa fort and a toilet visit at Dataran Pahlawan. As you can see, the weather is relatively nice and cooling.

By the time we got back to our car, there was a summon on each of our cars. Apparently, we had exceeded the 6PM road closure time, which I had totally forgotten, and hence, the RM35 summon. Offense was causing unnecessary obstruction of traffic. Luckily, it wasn’t from JPJ but normal blue uniformed police.

Anyway, despite being our mood slightly disturbed, we proceeded to Wok & Pan’s Nyonya Restaurant for dinner. This is my second time to the restaurant, and despite being highly recommended by someone who left a comment in my blog, the food still didn’t manage to convince me.

While chatting, Ying Qi brought the topic of blogging up.

“Do you know Jolene?”
“Jolene Lai Pei Shan?”

“Yes.”

“I do know her personally and I read her blog too.”

“She’s my primary school mate.”

“What a small word!”

“Haha! I tell you, her blog really……”

I know Yea Lee through Carol and Carol and Yea Lee were primary school mates.
I know Jolene through blogging. Jolene knew Ying Qi since primary school.
Yea Lee knew Ying Qi because they are studying in the same university in Australia.

All of us are somehow and somewhat connected.

We then had desserts at the opposite Nadeje Patisserie (Second time for the day for Yea Lee and I.) and we bid farewell.

Before that, Yea Lee bought some food from Ipoh / Bidor for me. The famous chicken biscuits and “wife biscuits”, and it’s from Pun Chun Restaurant!

Meeting Yea Lee was really fun and enjoying. Even though its our first meet, but since we have chatted quite often on MSN, we sort of “clicked” just nicely. Even the style of talking / having conversations were exactly like on MSN, full or sarcasm, humiliation, down grading, stupid questions with stupid answers and of course jokes and laughters. She looks way better than the pictures she sent to me / obtained from Friendster, and very cute too! It was nice meeting you!

Nice to meet you guys / girls and hope to see you again!

    Cely : Come Malacca.

Jayelle : That’s to stop spam. I have too much spams already. :( Yalah, it starts to freak me out. Your blog? Your blog really 56k killer loh, what else. LOL. I think so, but I didn’t have their handphone numbers. LOL.

Boss Stewie : Same as Cely, come Malacca. :P

Emotional Beggers : Inspiration… Hmm… Anything that happens to me and if I think it is suitable to be a blogging material, then I will blog about it. Sometimes, you don’t have to restrict yourself to certain topics or subjects, you can be open with your blog topics.

Besides, for my blogging style, I try to live as interesting as possible so that I will have things to blog. It’s something like a two way equation / situation. You want interesting things to blog, so you go find and do interesting things to do, which will then give you interesting things to write and the cycle goes on.

I hope that helps. Did I?
