Snail Mail From Afar
Guess what I got in my mailbox today?
Obviously, it’s a letter addressed to me and what’s so special about this snail mail? It’s a mail from the United States by a friend, a sweet little girl named Sook Ying a.k.a Emily.
It’s a Christmas card with her pictures on it. -sweat- Shiok sendiri to the max!
I first meet Sook Ying during my 4th KL trip and that was also when she was back in Malaysia during her summer breaks. We had lunch at 1U’s Vietnamese kitchen followed by a movie titled “13 Blocks”.
She blogs in Mandarin though, mostly about her life in Flagstaff, US. Don’t ask me where is it, I only know their time zone is 15 hours behind us. Due to the 15 hours difference, I had to stay up late until middle of the night or super early in the morning if I want to have a chat with her.
Well, nothing much in the card but lots of wishes for the upcoming new year. Not to forget, a huge loads of sincerity and sweetness.
