Fish Leong’s Malacca Showcase

November 11th, 2006, Jason

While I was taking pictures of Fish Leong, a conversation (girl’s voice) caught my attention.

“He’s working for The Star.”
P/S : Or something to that extend, because I wasn’t listening until I heard the word, “The Star“.

Immediately, I turned my head and saw a couple standing behind me; a pretty looking girl and a tall young lad. I looked at the girl and she kept quiet for a while. I turned my head slightly and then she whispered to the boy friend.

Based on my assumption,

1) She reads my blog.
She recognizes me.

2) Maybe, quite regularly too.
She knows who I am working with.

3) Most likely, she’s not a blogger.
A blogger would have come up, introduce ownself and take pictures together.

Anyway, to the girl standing behind me, if you are reading this, mind leaving a comment and at least, tell me who you are. Come to think of it, maybe I was just being “perasaan / shiok sendiri“, but then, I really heard the word “The Star”.

Back to Fish Leong.

Fish Leong a.k.a 梁静茹 is a local born (Bahau, Negeri Sembilan) singer who made it big in Taiwan. She was discovered by Jonathan Lee 李宗盛 and gain huge success with her first album “一夜张大”. A number of her songs are KTV hits songs, like “勇气”, “分手快乐”, “愛你不是兩三天”, “我喜歡”, “无条件为你” and etc. (Via Wikipedia.)

Pictures are slightly under exposed because I am standing a little far from the stage. Time to get a RM500 - RM600 (Is it around that price?) external flash for my camera; since Christmas is coming soon. Christmas = night shots = stronger flash = lower ISO = better picture. Ha!

Two of my favourite pictures.

Look at the popping eyes! Haha!

Doctor : “Say ahhhhhh…!”

A moment of silence.

3CDs, 3 posters, 3 * RM35… -sobs- And it’s all your (Ah Yong and Ah Kit) fault!

“Jason Mumbles” Is 2 Years Old!

November 9th, 2006, Jason

“Jason Mumbles” is 2 years old!

A small gift from Tien Soon.

Another year, another template. I hope insist that you like the new and old school feel template. -blek-

I always wanted to know,

1) How many silent readers does my blog has?
2) Can the silent readers at least leave a comment, for once?
3) What makes you read my blog / come back for more?

Can you all please enlighten me, especially question 3? Once Alicia Hue asked me how I made my blog gained its little fame and attracted a small number of loyal readers, I couldn’t answer her. Although I doubt I am or my blog is famous. -rolls eyes- So, please tell me the reason why you like / dislike my blog.

With my blog’s second birthday, of course I have to thanks my readers, right? Here goes…

A gazillion thanks to everyone out there who reads my blog, regardless of daily basis, regularly, once in a while, whenever I ping PPS , those who come and go and all the silent readers.

Which successfully made “Jason Mumbles” a blog that has an average readership of 14000 visitors per month, with the highest being 14745 monthly visitors and 634 being the highest daily visitors.
Statistic is based on Awstats. Figure might even hit the 15000 monthly visitors mark soon.

Thank you for all the 6345 comments, supports, encouragements, cheers, teases, scoldings and criticisms for the past 425 posts.
The number of comments should be even more if I didn’t use Haloscan that time.

Special thanks to those who are still reading my blog from day 1, you know who you are. -hugs- And also to all the friends I have made throughout the last 2 years.

And of course, thanks to myself for still able to keep the blogging spirit up for 2 years, which I think, is the longest hobby I ever have. -lol-

Happy birthday!

A small gift from Carol / Ellone.

“You only blogged about happy and good things. You hide all the bad things. Why I don’t see you blogging about sad things?”

Simple, I haven’t blog about it and the only thing that makes me sad or disappointed and yet I want to blog about is my results, and it only happens 3 times a year.

If you think you can take it, please proceed.

Sri Damansara McDonald Kids’ Gathering

November 4th, 2006, Jason

We had a small gathering at Sri Damansara’s McDonald. Attendees were lesser than expected, and it made me ponder whether was it because Twinsmom and Shiau Lin decided to fly our kite. The gathering had 2 new comers, Uncle James with his family (Auntie Mae, Roma and Jesse) and another soon-to-be blogger / Msau’s friend.

Finally, I got to meet James, Mae and Jesse in person. “Loopy Meals” is one of the earliest blogs and if not mistaken, the first father-son blog that I am still worshiping reading until today. I remembered it was April who introduced the blog to me. James is thinner compared to the one I saw in Project Petaling Street 2nd Birthday Bash’s picture and he’s so lucky to marry to the beautiful Mae. Jesse is very unfriendly though.

It was almost a year ago since we had a gathering. This time, the kids were more active and willing to open their mouth to talk and play with me. All the kids have grown bigger and taller, but 1+2mom’s Carol and Carrie still looked like the same size. -sweat-

Little Luke is now very camera conscious / sensitive and even know how to pose for the camera. He even took his father’s and Loc Kee’s digital camera to snap around. No, he didn’t get to touch my camera. Hah!

P/S :

I have uploaded the pictures somewhere, but due to privacy issues, please email me or drop a comment to get the link from me.

The pictures you saw at Egghead’s, mostly were taken with my camera. Hence, the same pictures.
