Chee Yong’s Toyota Innova

Chee Yong’s father bought a new family car, Toyota Innova for slightly less than RM100k. With nothing better to do, Chun Kit and I forced him to drive the car to Gemas to pick up his girl friend wife, Lee Hwee. It sure looked like we were going to pick up the bride (接新娘咯!).

We started our journey from Chee Yong’s house around 2.30PM and the driver was Chee Yong himself. Bummer!

The odometer at the dashboard was 104km, that’s how new the car is. Dashboard is sleek and neat, no weird placing like Kancil’s. It’s illuminated in white colour, not bright red / blue / yellow / orange like other cars, which I personally find it cool. The center board is the CD player and control panel for air conditioner, hazard lights and other stuffs. You can control the air conditioner’s temperature and even set it to auto. Once you set it to auto, the fan speed will change accordingly to the temperature.

It’s very spacious inside, regardless of front seat or back seat. For the back seats, you can put your seat down until 180 degrees flat and make it into a bed. There’s even an arm rest at the back, just like those high class sedans.

Since it’s still a relatively new car, Chee Yong didn’t floor the accelerator. Hence, I could’t really feel the power and pick up of the car / van / SUV. However, throughout the journey, it was quiet and stabil. Gear changing was very smooth as I couldn’t feel the power lag or mechanism when it changed gears.

Where’s Chee Yong’s picture? He went inside to see his “mother”, so we left him out. Heh!

Overall, it’s quite a good car. Of course it’s a good car, else it won’t be priced at almost RM100k and called Toyota. Heh!

My 2 best friends since primary school - Chee Yong and Chun Kit.

Now, with another family member, Lee Hwee. The same people who went to Cameron Highlands and Penang more than a year ago.

Yong : “Next year’s May, we go holiday in this car!”

Jason : “Let’s drive to Phuket, Thailand this time!”

Kit : “……” -speechless-

Now, we have 2 more seats, anyone wants to join? That’s if Chun Kit or me hasn’t find our own partners. -coughs-

A very spacious car, can fit more than 10 people inside. Do watch out for its original seat, it gets spoilt easily, so do consider covering it up with some leather cover for comfort and protection. hohoho

On the driver’s side, this car has a wide view from the inside and I am striving in driving this on a small passage or especially when I met a dead end. Lol. Great for family car.

Chee Yong : But u can drive the car, right? :P

Surfnux : 10 people? Sure or not? 10 small kids is it? Try fitting 10 people of the same size like me and see. LOL. Yaloh, very wide and tall, something like a van/jeep already.

Che-Cheh : Because sama big size mah! :P
