Conspiracy Behind Jason’s Food Reviews?

I met Miche a few days back, when she was buying the Ramly Burger I featured on my blog.

Since I will be doing my rounds at my hubby’s shop, I went there to get a taste of it. I ordered Black Pepper Beef burger.

Then sms Jason that I was there.

Received his reply, “C U there.”

Oh No! I’m not ready to meet him.

As I was typing “no”, “Hi Michelle”, someone called.

That gave me a fright!

It was Jason. He looks so cute with his rounded baby face. If he were much much younger, I think, I’ll pinch both his cheek. Had small talk then we left.

So cute with his rounded baby face… So cute with his rounded baby face… So cute with his rounded baby face… So cute with his rounded baby face… So cute with his rounded baby face…

Wah Lau Eh! -faints- There must have been one or two wires inside her brain that got twisted. -blek-

Miche then blogged about the aftermath of eating the burger. To cut it short, something went wrong and Miche had a painful and suffering gastic on that night itself. Therefore, I take this opportunity to apologize to Miche. I am sorry, Auntie Miche.

Taste and flavour is something very subjective and it is up to the person to judge whether is it bad, so so, good or best food they have eaten. I have no intention to fool my readers by blogging and putting up photos about food that tasted so so but got exaggerated by me. Neither I would say I am totally not responsible for it. It’s just that, I have no control over the quality and taste of the food I ate; and I am just writing about what my tongue felt at that particular moment. Not to mention, my stomach is literally made from steel and nicknamed “black hole”. -lol-

Unlike KL, Malacca is a very old town and usually, the more popular stalls are usually managed by families who have been running the stall for years, maybe 1 or 2 generations. Hence, you can bid farewell to many “qualities” that you might want to watch out when you dine at any place.

Road side - Checked!
Dirty - Checked!
Old - Checked!
Dimly lit - Checked!
Bigger-than-cats Rats - Checked!
Oily - Checked!
Pork Lard - Checked!

High class - Nope!
Healthy - Nope!
Hygiene - Nope!
Comfortable - Nope!
Air conditioned - Nope!

Well, you get the idea. However, that what makes Malacca a truly unique place to visit. The name of historical city is no bluff after all. Whatever food that I featured is based solely on my own taste buds and opinions. Please don’t put too high expectations when you savour them; the bigger your expectation is, the bigger your disappointment is.

Complaints that I knew so far :

1) Jesslyn - Beef Bah Kut Teh being too salty and spicy.

2) Miche - Ramly Burger caused serious gastric.

3) King’s Cafe’s Nyonya Restaurant is off the list. Too many to write down, after we had our company dinner there.

As for the good ones? Why not you find out by yourself? -wink-

However, if you have tasted it yourself, do let me know the outcome and your own opinions. It would definitely help me in improving my tastes and also my food category.

Yes, absolutely agree that the taste of food is a very subjective one. For example, in Melaka, some people like you prefer the Satay Celup at Ong Kim Wee, but a lot of my friends and I never like it. I personally prefer Capitol Satay Celup for its thick peanut paste.

Recently I’ve also published about Yong Tau Foo at Malim Jaya, for its irresistibly fresh fish paste. But, of course, again, some people will have other differing preference.
