Spirit Of Melaka, Here We Come!
After the sucess of “Spirit Of Kuala Lumpur” held a few months back, The Star and Digi organized “Spirit Of Melaka“. It is something similiar to “Amazing Race”, which the team members have to solve questions, puzzles and complete tasks to advance.
The price is RM6000 cash, mobile phones, mobile reloads and etc.

As closing date, there were 300 plus teams joined the race. Therefore, there was an elimination match held on Tuesday, 7PM to 11PM. We had to answer 4 simply questions correctly and as fast as possible. Only the first 100 teams will qualify for the race, which will fall on Saturday.

As for the presentation part, what I heard from my editor was that they are required to do a presentation on what they have learnt/found/discovered throughout the whole Spirit of Melaka. Presentation is only for the top 3 teams, and it will be the criteria to win the cash prize.
As for the clue, only the first clue was received through SMS and a few ones. The rest are given in a booklet form.
However, Spirit of KL and Spirit of Melaka are 2 different things though. :)

Izzit a direct clue and puzzle or you need to put on your thinking cap ?? Do you need to travel by bus or car ?? Btw, can we claim the bus fare or petrol if travel by car ?? How much do I need to reload my phone credit ?? What’s the total calling cost ?? How long to complete the preliminary round ?? Do we really need to be familiar with the name of the road ?? Thanks a bunch !!

Questions asked were basically based on the location, so no point asking the questions aslo. You can get the answers by looking around. All the questions asked are based on the locations. Everyone has to travel by foot, obviously. Minimum of RM20, it was stated before the competition what. You don’t have to call much lah. They gave us 3 hours for the preliminary round.
Haihz. It’s not that I don’t want to answer you, Kelly. Its just that, its getting too much. Spirit of KL is 180 degrees different from Spirit of Melaka, and so does Spirit of Penang will be 180 degrees different from Spriti of Melaka and KL.
So, why not just relax yourself and have fun instead.
