JiNz’s Surprise Visit
10.15PM, my N70 was singing “漂亮的让我面红的可爱女人… 温柔的让我心疼的可爱女人…” and to my surprise, it was JiNz calling.
“等下你有在马六甲吗?”
“有啊! 哦, 下马六甲又没有有跟我讲.”
“不是啦! 我只是经过, 要拿东西给你.”
“哦!”
“我现在还在 highway, 等下再 call 你啦!”
Sis was on her way back, and this time, she decided to be kind and sweet to Jason. Hence, she passed by Malacca to give me some stuffs before heading back to Segamat.
She bought me a box of Penang’s “Tambun Biscuits”, which she got it during her Penang trip few days back. Yes, it was the trip that cost her RM1000. When I opened the box, my nose could immediately sniff out the once-familiar-aroma. I have to say, the original flavour still will always taste better than the pandan flavour. Must be the pandan flavouring covered the lard’s significant smell and taste.
Other than a box of “Tambun Biscuits”, there is something else too! Knowing that I love to eat, she got me 3 slices of pizza, not from Pizza Hut, but from Macro’s Pizza. (You can read about the restaurant from Joan a.k.a Food Lover’s blog.)
Authentic Italian pizza, thin and crispy crust with lots of cheese; although it wasn’t crispy by the time it reached my hand. Not much toppings, only onions, ham and cheese, but it was delicious. It came at the right time, and that was my supper.
“Pizza 好好吃哦! 好幸福~!”
“Next time you go KL, we go eat the fresh and hot one lah…”

ErRr… I think they are. When I was working in KL, my colleagues always asked me to get them some Tau Sah Pia and Beh Teh Soo from Him Heang whenever I came back to Penang. I love Beh Teh Soo from them more. :D

Irene : I think its sesame seed biscuit, not “ma tai so”. The Macro’s pizza was quite good actually. Thin, crispy and minimum but rich toppings. This is the original pizza, very thin crust. Go try lah! JiNz didn’t say anything about the reward woh, but then, I am not asking anything also. Hehe. By the way, the link you gave wrong one ler.
