The Longest 70 Minutes
1.07AM, I received a SMS from Ah Nee.
Immediately, I wanted to see her, but I hesitated because she asked me not to.
1:27AM, I asked Emily and JiNz, “Should I go?” and “Am I stupid?”. Their reply was “Yes.” and “Just follow your heart.”
I grabbed my wallet and car keys and in no time, I was waiting in front of her house already. It was 2:10AM and the moon was shining brightly.
2:21AM…
2:31AM…
2:41AM… Nearly 1 hour after she told me she was safe, I still couldn’t see any sign of her reaching home. I was the only human being standing along the road, waiting for her home-coming.
2:51AM…
3:01AM…
3:11AM…
3:21AM…
Finally, she’s back.
She walked towards me and I could see her very pale and frightened face, caused by “the incident”. I was very mad at her, mad because of her stupidity / naive / no reason / whatever it is. I spoke to her and she just nodded her head without saying a single word. I asked her to go back inside, take a bath and go to bed. She nodded her head again and went inside the house.
I left the place without saying a single word. Yet, I felt glad and relieved the moment I saw her.
It was the longest 70 minutes of my 22 years. It was…
P/S : To that son of the bitch, don’t let me find out who are you and if you ever dare to lay a finger on her again, I swear that I will whack the shit out of you. Bastard!
