6.30PM, Lioh’s family’s dinner time.
Set the table… Checked!
Prepare home cooked chilies… Checked!
Home made “Yong Tau Fu 酿豆腐”… Checked!
Greet parents… “爸, 吃饭! 妈, 吃饭!”… Checked!
-munch munch munch-
I like to eat my “Yong Tau Fu” with this method.
1. Take a piece of “Yong Tau Fu”, “Yong Lady Fingers 酿羊角豆”, “Yong Tau Fu Pok 酿豆腐-Pok”, “Yong Bitter Gourd 酿苦瓜” and etc.
2. Scrape out the meat filling.
3. Eat the emptified “Yong Tau Fu”, “Yong Lady Fingers 酿羊角豆”, “Yong Tau Fu Pok 酿豆腐-Pok”, “Yong Bitter Gourd 酿苦瓜” and etc.
4. Save the best for last.
5. Watch out for enemies, like my 2 sisters and mum. They will steal the meat away if you don’t defend your treasure.

ei u sound so much like me when i was younger “save the best for the last.” i used to do that for my pizza topping..and there’s one day…..i put so much of pepperoni one side…finally finished the last bit of bread..then swoop..my dad took it all away and stuffed it down his throat. i almost cried man..coz whole meal..din eat a single piece of pepperoni..hahahahhahahahha…and there wasn’t any pizza left..so sedih!! hahahha

hehehe…looking good! yong tau foo was my second meal when I was home last October! We went to the one at between Segambut and Jalan Ipoh. Forget the name of the restaurant but it was good! To me…anything is good as long as it’s FOOD! :)

Yummy…U better learn your “Save the best for the last”. I was the same last time until I met my Uni fren.
Once u put it aside, they will assume “Aiya, y u put the chicken aside. U dun like it. So I help u gao tim it lo”. Then its like acquiescence, whole meal eat the ‘cheapest’ food.

my home use this method to enjoy curry fish head ler..really 1 dish gao dim.. hehe..since u used to makan so much..1/3 oof yong tau foo sure inside ur tummy liao lor?

Earl Ku : I like ah… LOL! That’s not pure fish ler, dad mixed it with pork, mushroom and salted fish and also got fish lah. But then, depends on my mood lah, sometimes I will eat like that, sometimes I will eat it together. :P Blow ah? LOL.
