I followed my supervisor to a press conference of an event this afternoon.

As I was walking into the conference room, there was a man behind me. I guess he is at his mid 40’s, wearing black suit and looks like one who holds an important post. At first, he put his hand on my shoulder, trying to make his way into his room. Slowly, he moved his hand to my back as we slowly walking along the corridor. It was still ok since it was kind of packed anyway.

Then when we were about to enter the room…

Is he gay or what?!

My KL trip #4 will be postponed to next week, should be around 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of June. There are too many things I need to sort it out this week, not to mention, my supervisor wants to assign me more assignments throughout the week. So, friends, I will keep in touch with you then.

I am currently back in Tampin for few days to run some errands and also to give myself a break / rest after a very tiresome month. I will be back in Malacca on Wednesday, I guess.

After I finished the assignment assigned by my supervisor, I drove to town to try the not-so-new Vietnamese restaurant. Upon arriving, there were only 2 tables occupied. My heart said, “Bad sign #1.”

There wasn’t much variety on the menu. There were 3 main categories, mainly noodles, side dishes and soup. With about 4-5 varieties on each categories, very limited choices, I can say. My heart said, “Bad sign #2.”

I ordered beef noodles and spring rolls anyway, RM4 for each.

While waiting for my food to come, the boss was chatting with the customers. I overheard the conversation that they wanted to close down the shop since business wasn’t that good. They wanted to hand over the shop to someone else, but nobody was interested. My heart said, “Bad sign #3.”

My food arrived and I could only look at the beef noodle with the “WTF” look. 2 thin slices of beef meat, 1 scoop of minced beef meat, a llittle bit of bean sprouts, peppermint leaves and spring onions to garnish it. The soup tasted bland and there were no beef balls, at all. It was totally pathetic!

Then, my spring roll came. Another “WTF” look on my face. The spring roll was just slightly longer than the length of my little finger. I believe, I can stuck the spring roll into my nose if I force it in. Don’t even talk about what’s inside. It was totally pathetic!

With such food, how can you asked us to write a good review on your restaurant. Being the first Vietnamese restaurant in Malacca doesn’t really mean anything, to me. I went in as a customer, it disappointed me.

“Supervisor, can I claim my lunch money from the office? RM10+ is a lot.” -puppy eyes-

I have officially finished my final examination, but I need to start preparing for my supplementary papers. Out of the 4 papers, I am extremely sure that EEN 1046 Electronics III will fail. Even my EPM 1026 Introduction To Machines doesn’t look too good. -sighs- I expect a 2P and 2F. If luck is on my side, 3P and 1F. More naggings from my mum for the next 3, or maybe 4 weeks.

As usual, my holiday will never be complete if I don’t meet up with my friends cum bloggers and food hunting in KL. Since nobody from our group is organizing any gathering, (Besides, they had their gathering few weeks back at Kidzsport.), I am planning for a 3 days 3 nights trip. The tentative date is set at 31st of May, 1st, 2nd and 3rd of June.

Friends / Bloggers that I hope to meet are :

1) Mikel a.k.a Louyau. He’s coming back from London, finally.

2) Elaine of Laynie = Meds. She’s Mikel’s girl friend, by the way. She might not turn up though.

3) Emily. I need to claim my TGIF meal, but I ower her one meal. She suggested to meet her at her college though.

4) 阿姐, 靖岚 a.k.a Jinlan a.k.a JiNz. She will be abandoning me soon, very soon. I mean, really, really, very, very soon. -sobs- I told her the other day, but from her tone, most likely we won’t be meeting up this holiday. Ada orang berat sebelah. -coughs-

5) Young Brat. I didn’t get to talk to him when we met for the first time in Kepong’s Bloggers’ Gathering. But then, I am confident that he will fly my aeroplane (not turn up) because he has to accompany his girl friend most of the time.

6) Tiu Nia Sing. It has been ages since I last saw you and have a cup of coffee glass of stout together. But then, I am crossing my fingers on him also. The last time I asked him out, he said he was having sex. -sweat-

7) Sook Ying. She came back from Arizona, US just to meet up with me! How can I not meet her, right?

8) Earl Ku. That time I couldn’t make it to the lunch appointment, maybe this time? By the way, he’s the owner of http://www.kukujiao.com. -shrugs-

9) Cheng Sim. I want to claim my winnings on our bet, even though I would love to lose. -sighs- She’s also very good at flying kites, so I am crossing my toes for this one.

10) Peek@Booh. She’s the only one who pampered me to the maximum so far, and also one of the rare females that love to eat / enjoy good food like me. Unlike other girls, “Fattening lah!”, “Don’t want, I’m very fat already!”, “I’m full, I don’t want to eat.” and etc. -shrugs-

11) If possible, the usual members like Milly, Egghead, Loc Kee, Suzette, Twinsmom, Kai Hong, Mun Kit and etc. Looks like my every KL trip, they are the victims. -lol-

Looking at the list, most of them have high chances of not turning up. Then, it would be less meaningful even if I make a trip to KL, right? Therefore, plans might change according to people, time, location and situations. Depending on financial status, might have to scrape the whole plan also. -lol-

Bad luck. I broke my speccs which I changed about 1 year ago.

Now, I have to cover an event tonight without my specs and just when I am trying to save money for my own camera. Great!

2. Sticked the tape on the glasses and wrapped it around the frame.
