A Song That Is Never Too Old

I am still searching for suitable ringing tones for the various groups in my phone, mainly “Family & Relatives”, “MMU-ians”, “Bloggers” and “Special Friends”.

After going through my 8.9Gb of MP3s’ and WMAs’ song list, I still couldn’t find a ringing tone that I really like for all the groups. However, when I came accross this song, I knew this is the song for a few best friends of mine, especially Chee Yong and Chun Kit.

The song is titled “Friends 朋友”, sang by Emil Chau 周华健 and was released 9 or 10 years ago, when I was in Standard 6 (1996) or Form 1 (1997). Simple, easily remembered and down-to-earth tune, short, simple and meaningful lyrics.

When I asked Chun Kit, “What song do you want me to put as ringing tone for you and Ah Yong?”
He answered, “Emil Chau’s ‘Friends’.”
I replied, “I was thinking of that song too.”
He said, “Guess that song is just too meaningful for us.”
I couldn’t agree more.

“朋友” (Download)

Dedicated to all my friends, especially Chee Yong and Chun Kit, cheers to our 16 years of friendship.

On the other hand, what song should I put for the group - “Bloggers”? Any suggestions? And what song is meaningful to you?

P/S : Posting song lyrics is not my style. Does this post even consider as an update? Sorry, Boss Stewie. :P
