K.L. Trip #2 - Day 2
Click on the link to read my K.L. Trip #2 - Day 1 post.
My initial plan for Friday was messed up / back fired (Details can be read in this post – “Shitty Day“.), I had to arrange my plans and call up my friends for rescheduling and cancellation of our appointment. 2 appointments were canceled and 2 were rescheduled. (Sorry for the last minute plan, my friends.)
I left the house at 5.30PM, as I would be having dinner with Kai Hong and his girl friend, Fat Lady, at Subang. Finally, after drooling in front of the computer for so many months, looking at the pictures of him enjoying “Bah Kut Teh” all by himself, I got to eat the best “Bah Kut Teh” in Subang, as he claimed.
The traffic was smooth, not like what Uncle Patrick said moments before I left the house. –shows fist- I reached the place at 6.30PM and Kai Hong was waiting inside his F-117 already. We then went to Subang KTM station to pick up Fat Lady.
Fat Lady a.k.a Sharon is not fat at all. She is slim and tall, very tall compare to the average girl’s height. She is about the same height as Kai Hong. Pretty lady, I can say. Kai Hong, because of this sentence, you owe me another meal. –evil grins- Kidding. I owe you a few meals, please come to Malacca and claim it. –lol-
Perhaps it was a screwed up day, Kai Hong’s favourite’s “Bah Kut Teh” shop was closed for the first time since he started patronizing this shop. Did I bring bad luck to them? I think so. –frowns- So, we went to the next door which sells the same thing. –rolls eyes- He ordered one set of “Bah Kut Teh”, “Asam Curry Fish Head” and “Braised Pig’s Legs”.

“Bah Kut Teh” is quite delicious, but something is missing. It lacks of something that gives the “umph”, you know. The soup is nice and tasty; the herbal taste is not as strong as Malacca’s. Kai Hong and me finished the soup till the very last drop.

The “Asam Curry Fish Head” is the best appetizer for that dinner. It was about to activate my black hole function, for it really opens up your appetite and the spiciness is there but will not “sting” your stomach. I had 2 bowls of rice and I actually wanted to order the third bowl.

As for the third dish, the meat is tender and juicy. Delicious. Enough said.

Kai Hong paid the bills (again) and we bid farewell. We might be having another meal together again, after Sharon goes to China for work. Kai Hong dare not eat a lot in front of Sharon, might get his ear twisted later.
After that, I drove back to pick up Chee Yong so that we could go Feeling Cafe as his girl friend, Lee Hwee was on duty that night. Lee Hwee is working as a waitress at Feeling Cafe currently. Dion, the waitress I once blogged about in here and here, was on duty as well.

They still have not change their A4 paper menu to a better one. –shrugs-
I ordered “Iced Peppermint” but it sucks and I did not finish it. Honestly, the only drink that is consumable is still their “Honey On The Rock” or basically, water with honey.

P/S :
Thanks to Kai Hong for the dinner, again.
Nice to meet you, Sharon.
