Destiny’s Child Last Song - “Stand Up For Love”
This is the second time I post up song lyric as a post. However, the moment I listened to the song, I could not stop myself from repeating the song again, again, again and again (at least 40-50 times). It has been in my playing list since Thursday 5AM until now. One of the reason is it is Destiny’s Child or Beyoncé Knowles. Of course, the song is simply marvelous.
This song – “Stand Up For Love” was launched recently and has been selected as the theme song for McDonald’s World Children’s Day 2005. The song was written and produced by 14-time Grammy Award winner David Foster and his daughter Amy Foster Gillies in cooperation with Beyoncé Knowles. In other words, the group is doing charity / fund raising with McDonalds. (No wonder I love McDonalds so much. :P)
Destiny’s Child will be retiring has retired after their last concert of the world tour at Vancouver on September 10. Therefore, the song “Stand Up For Love” will be their last song sang as a group. –sighs-
However, Beyoncé’s new album is scheduled to release next fall, September 2006. –rubs hand- She will be co-starring in “The Pink Panther” with Steve Martin, which will be released on February 14th. -evil grins-
