I woke up from my evening nap (6.30PM to 10.30PM), feeling very great and happy for no reason. Perhaps it was the wonderful nap that I had, or it could be because I was feeling fresh after awake for nearly 36 hours. I was a little lazy to go out for dinner, as basically, Bukit Beruang has no more nice food for me. (Am I picky or what?) I decided to make my ultimate-cheapest-6-in-1-own-made-hot mocha shake.

I took Vincent’s “Protein Shaker” (I heard them calling it as “Protein Shaker”.) from the rack. It is basically a normal plastic cup that comes with a tight cap and a little small hole on top to release the air inside. They use it to shake the protein powder with hot water, although I do not know why they have to shake it.

To make mocha, of course you need cocoa powder and coffee powder, right? Since I do not have those proper powder like those franchised coffee shop, our Malaysia’s 3-in-1 Milo and 3-in-1 Coffee Mix will do the job. Do substitute them with your favourite brand like Ovaltine, Vico, Nescafe, Aik Cheong Coffee or whatever brand that you like.

Cut open (You can tear them, if you like.) the packets and pour out whatever is inside the packet into the “Shaker”. Fill up the remaining spaces with boiling (must) hot water and close it tightly with the cover.

There is a hole at the cover, therefore, remember to close the air hole before you start shaking. If not, the cover will pop out and your mocha will be spilled all over your table, keyboards, body, wall and shirt. (I “kena”-ed, that is why I know. Duh!)

Shake it as long as you can, preferably 5 minutes (minimum) or longer. The longer you shake, the smoother and the cooler your mocha is. Therefore, if you prefer it to be hot when you drink it, you have to use boiling hot water instead of normal hot water.

Before that, I have bought one of my favourite artists – Zhi Chen’s (张智成) latest album – “Happiness (快乐)”. For those who do not know, Z-Chen is Malaysia born artist, who is one of the few Malaysia singers who made it to Taiwan and became famous. He is known as the R&B Prince in Taiwan and is a very successful singer.

Now, with my ultimate-cheapest-6-in-1-own-made-hot mocha shake, my favourite singer and his new songs and chatting happily, what more can I ask for tonight?

If you do not have the proper “Shaker”, perhaps you can use your kids’ milk bottle? Heh! Maybe you can let them have something new too! :P
