Body Glove Is Suing Me For……

Last Thursday, while I was waiting for NeeNee’s call to meet up for dinner, I received a call from an unidentified number.
“Hello?”
“Is this Jason Lioh speaking?”
“Speaking.”
“I am June, calling from Body Glove.”
“Huh?”
“We found your blog and read the two posts – ‘The War Between Giordano And Body Glove‘ and ‘A Gift From NeeNee‘, which have a direct relationship to Body Glove. We came to a conclusion that you have violated the copyright law and defamation of our product. Therefore, we are considering to sue you for compensation.”
“What?! Fuck!”
OK, cut the craps. If you believe that, I am so sorry. I was just joking, but at least the title caught your interest. Peace! –blek- What actually happened was…
“We found your blog and have read the two posts – ‘The War Between Giordano And Body Glove‘ and ‘A Gift From NeeNee‘. They are very interesting and to show our appreciation, we would like to give you some gifts. Is it possible for you to come over to our Body Glove outlet in Jalan Bukit Bintang, tomorrow at 1PM?”
“Sure. It should not be any problem.”
To cut short, the people from Body Glove office stumbled upon my blog and have read the two posts, one that I consider as very lame. For God knows why, they found it to be interesting and decided to give me some gifts to show their appreciation for my effort in blogging about their Body Glove products.
The next day, we (Chee Yong, Chun Kit and me) went to Bukit Bintang and it did not take us very long to find the outlet. I introduced myself as Jason and the worker immediately paged June to inform her about my arrival.
As June (SYT, I can say.) was away at that moment, she asked me to choose 4 garments of any price and any design. I was surprised. Really! How many chances in your lifetime you get to buy take clothes from a shop that sells branded product? I mean, I was basically doing daylight robbery at the Body Glove outlet in Jalan Bukit Bintang.
Other than my Giordano T-shirts collection that I bought by myself, I do not buy clothes myself that often. I only do shopping like twice or thrice per year. My mother is the one who buys my shirts for me and one or two T-shirts from NeeNee. Therefore, I was having difficulties in choosing all 4 shirts. How I wished NeeNee was there to help me but she was having class that time. –sighs-
After one hour, I finally picked 2 T-shirts and 1 shirt.
Was not I supposed to choose 4 garments? Why I only chose 3? I kept the last one for NeeNee. –wink- It was her who bought my first Body Glove T-shirt a few weeks ago, which gave me the inspiration to blog about it and came up with a lame post after that. Thus, resulting in today’s daylight robbery at the Body Glove outlet. Thanks a lot, Nee! –hugs- I called her and she asked me to choose something for her. NeeNee was interested with a jacket but the price backed her off that time. However, I felt that the jacket would look good on her and that was the main reason why I took the jacket. So, Jason saved the day again! –lol-
I went to the counter to pay for collect my items. The machine showed a total of RM283.50 or something near to that value. However, since they are currently having mega sales (10% for the first item and 40% for the second item.), the total should be way lesser than that amount. She gave each of us an accessory for bags. It has a clock and a little compass in it.
After thanking June and the workers there, we left the shop. Immediately, I regretted. Why did not I ask whether I could exchange the clothes with the bag? Damn! Next, to buy a bag from Body Glove and get a Body Glove membership card!
Anyway, a very big thank you to the staffs at Body Glove for reading my blog and the gift as a token of appreciation. At first, I like Body Glove because it was a gift from NeeNee. But now, I have second thoughts. Perhaps I would start buying my T-shirts from Body Glove from now on.
To thank June and the staff at Body Glove, I bought a “Thank You” card for them.

With this incident that happened on me, I am even more proud of my blog. To the anonymous who commented on my previous post - “Welcome to the world. Did anyone tell you that you are boring?”, perhaps you should eat your words back. I accept negative comments from people, but not from anonymous. Peace!
Being a loyal fan of Giordano for the past 3 years and wearing their T-shirts in and out and at every function and occasion, I was somehow a little disappointed when this incident happened on me. I mean…… You know…… It is like… Never mind, I think you would understand how I feel, right?
Again, June is quite cute and pretty too. Do make a visit to Body Glove outlet at Jalan Bukit Bintang to see for yourself and remember to buy something. -lol- (Free advertising for Body Glove.)
