Finally, it was Friday. We (Chee Yong, Chun Kit and me) had to leave UKM early in the afternoon, as I need to make a visit to Body Glove’s outlet at Jalan Bukit Bintang at 1PM. (I will blog about it in details.) After I was done with my stuff at the Body Glove outlet, we split up as all three of us have different places to go. I went to Section 17, Petaling Jaya again to meet up with NeeNee, as I wanted to pass her a present that I got from Body Glove.

I reached her campus at about 4PM and I called her. She did not pick up the call. I messaged her. There was no reply. After 15 minutes, I called her again and nobody picked up the call. After another 15 minutes, I messaged her and there was no reply again. I waited at the nearby bus stop from 4PM until 5:15PM. The same bus passed the bus stop for at least 5 times. I was really mad and messaged her sister – Yen Nee to grumble about it. Immediately, her sister called NeeNee (Thanks a lot, sis!) and miraculously, she picked up the call. Then only NeeNee called me and said she did not notice I called and messaged her and her phone was in silent mode.

Honestly, I was very mad and pissed off, as it was not fun at all to wait at the bus stop and doing nothing for almost 75 minutes. Furthermore, the weather was hot, the air was smelly, I was sweating, my body was sticky and most importantly, I was hungry! I met up with her after that, passed her the present, talked a little bit and left the place, as she has spoilt my entire mood for the day. (Nee, you better do something for me as compensation! I want a bag from Body Glove and a wallet. –evil grins-)

I then took a cab to Mid Valley for my own bloggers’ gathering, which was to be held at 8PM at McDonalds. Since it was still early and I was hungry, I decided to try something at The Manhattan Fish Market. The waiters are very polite, the atmosphere is good and the service is very swift too. It left a very good impression inside me, as it was my first visit to this restaurant.

I ordered the currently on promotion dish – Fresh Mussels with Lemon Sauce, or something similar to that. The normal price for this dish is RM13.90 and the dish is currently priced at RM6.95 throughout the promotion period. It comes in half a dozen and a few pieces of freshly baked breads for you to dip with. Six is definitely enough for two persons, even I managed to finish four of them only. It is very good as the mussels served are fresh and the sauce goes well with the mussels and the breads.

I ordered their fried mushroom as well. It is really crispy, as they claimed in their menus. It comes in half a dozen too, with a small bowl of lemon sauce (again). I burned my tongue when I first ate it. The mushroom’s juice and oil were oozing out when I bit on it. Again, the portion is enough for two persons and I only managed to finish four of them. (Four again? Bad luck!)

After I finished my meal, I went to McDonalds and started to wait for the people who have promised to meet up with me before I came to K.L. Milly came first and it was nice to meet her again after our last meet up was 3 months ago. She came all the way from Setapak despite being busy with her projects. Currently, she is even busier than our Malaysia’s Prime Minister and perhaps, the US President. If you happen to visit her blog, you will read posts about how busy she is currently and nothing else. Do not believe? Hop over and verify it yourself.

Tiu Nia Sing then came to meet us for 10 minutes only as he had something to do at 8PM. Tiu Nia Sing, also known as Sam looks like a gangster and I bet, his look might even frighten the kids if he was to stay back and meet up with the mummies. He is very tall, fit, cool, handsome and of course, very “Lan Tiu 懒屌”. From his look, you will never know he is a handsome young lad who excels in his studies and enjoys the art of blogging. “Never judge its book by its cover.” How true! Sam, We have to meet up some other time, as we did not talk much that night. It was nice meeting you in person! Cheers!

Then, Auntie Msau came with Siao Qing. Siao Qing is very cute and chubby too! She really looks like “Crayon Shin Chan 蜡笔小新”. Do not believe? Then, click here to see for yourself. Siao Qing was very quiet and sat quietly on Msau’s lap the whole night. She was quite afraid of me, as she did not want to “socialize” with me. So bad! Auntie Msau, after disturbing you in MSN so long, finally get to meet you in person already! Your picture is with me, so do not make me angry or bribe me with more delicious food, OK? –evil laughs-

Auntie Lazy Bone came and it was very easy to recognize her. When I started reading her blog, I imagined she is a very modern looking mother with short hair. My imagination was verified that night. Ian is very cute and hyperactive. Auntie Lazy Bone had a difficult time taking care of Ian, as Ian was climbing up and down, walking here and there, screaming and laughing loudly, moving vigorously and also trying to court Siao Qing and the Belles. He even showed me his “kiss kiss” and “hug hug”. He is definitely a very active and handsome kid. Besides, he is not really afraid of strangers too after he got used to the surroundings and the people around him! Auntie Lazy Bone, thanks for coming all the way to Mid Valley to meet up with me. It was my pleasure to meet you in person. You look very modern and have the businesswomen look. –wink-

Loc Kee came too, but Sweet Sweet and Sweet Sweet Mummy were nowhere to be seen. Apparently, Loc Kee came right after he finished his work and did not go back home yet. Next time, I shall find my way to Kepong to meet up with Sweet Sweet. Actually, I forgot to take a photo with Loc Kee when I met him yesterday. So, the photo you saw in the previous post was actually taken on Friday.

Last but not least, the blogger that I am very eager and wanted to meet for a very long time – Twinsmom, also known as Auntie Maria, with the Belles. “Without the twins, I have no identity.” said Twinsmom when she met us. Very true indeed! If not because of the Belles, Twinsmom is just a very typical SAHM, so normal that you will not notice her if she is standing next to you when buying vegetables in the market. -lol- Maybe Auntie Maria did stand next to you in the market, but you did not realize it only. (That is if Auntie Maria goes to the market to buy vegetables. -wink-) Auntie Maria, finally, after nearly 8 months of reading each other’s blogs, we got to know each other in person. Thanks for helping me out and listening to my endless grumbles a few times. Hats off to you! –hugs-

Annabelle has an attitude of her own. It was very difficult to make her talk to me that night. When I wanted to shake hand with her, she actually turned her face away and treated me as I was invisible. She even stared at me with her eyes in a fierce looking face. –sweat- It was when I took out the lollipop only she decided to “talk” to me. After seeing the Belles in person, it is quite easy to differentiate who is who. Annabelle has the quality of being goddess of gamblers too. Each time I pointed my camera at her, she would turn her head away. –sweat- Therefore, no clear shot of Annabelle that night.

Isabelle is very friendly. I took about 5 minutes to “tham” her and she was quite friendly to me already. She sat on my lap when I offered her to sit on my lap as Annabelle was giggling on Twinsmom’s lap. Isabelle shook hands with me and told me her name. She even gave me a hug, all by herself, before we bid farewell. Really, cute is an understatement to describe the Belles. However, although Annabelle is cute, I still think Isabelle is even cuter. (Mun Kit, I still remember you said Annabelle is cuter. Just that I cannot find the Haloscan comment in Twinsmom’s old blog.)

It was about 9.30PM when the gathering has come to an end. Here are some photos moments before we bid farewell to each other.

With that, my K.L. and Bloggers’ Meet Up trip has come to an end. I have spent quite a lot in this trip, about RM250 – RM300 inclusive of petrol, tolls and meals throughout the 6 days. It was fun to meet all the bloggers whom I follow their blog since I started blogging. It is indeed a wonderful experience for me to meet up with you all, from teenagers, sales executive, “big boss”, businesswoman, working mothers and SAHMs. Cheers!

Just to clarify, actually Ian is NOT really not afraid of stranger. He was okay because I was around. Furthermore, he needs time to warm up. In the beginning he was quite nervous and didn’t want to let me go. He was then okay when he saw the belles and SQ, and saw his mommy (me) chatting with you guys/gals happily. :)
I can guarantee you, if I hide myself that day and he can’t find me, he will sure cry out badly. ;)

aw man… your picture with crop off your buddies’ head looks weird man…

you should consider uses the standard black stripe to cover only eye (like most suspects in the newspaper), or use the pixelised filter in photoshop to pixelised the entire head if you wish. heheh…. :P
