Jason’s Super Mini Bloggers’ Gathering

July 29th, 2005, Jason

Date : 5th of August, 2005 Friday

Time : 8PM onwards

Location : Mid Valley Mega Mall, Kuala Lumpur

Venue : McDonalds at Lower Ground Floor

Although I am not very sure about the attendees yet, as I have yet to receive much response from the people whom I want to meet, I will definitely be there. Perhaps, it could be the timing that is just not right or my bad luck that has been lingering around me all these while or the fact that I am just a tiny weeny blogger that explain why there are not many people are able to confirm whether they are attending the meet up or not. -sighs- Is it the time or the date? I am not too sure. Oh well, at least, I will be meeting up with Twinsmom and the Belles; that is for sure. -smile-

P/S :

The Belles, by just thinking of them, they have already cheered me up! By all means, you have to watch these videos featuring the Belles. They are just C-U-T-E! Nah, cute is an understatement!

This might be my last post for the next 10 days as my holidays will start today and I will be in K.L. for my own super mini and personal bloggers gathering. Have fun and take care!

Happy Birthday, Hwa Yinn!

July 29th, 2005, Jason

If you follow my blog most of the time, you will notice that I hang out with a girl named Hwa Yinn quite often. I have not introduce her to you official yet, but I decided to dedicate this post to her on a very special day, which is her birthday that falls on the 28th of July.

She is a course mate that I got to know 3 years ago, after being introduced to me by my ex-roommate and ex-MMU-ian, Chen Yow Jong, or better known as Chris. I did not talk much to her at that time as most of the time, she would be talking to and hanging out with Chris instead. They are quite good friends, I can say. It was during the third trimester of our first degree year when I started to get close to her, especially after Chris got terminated quitted MMU to pursue his another engineering dream – to be a L.A.M.E.

Since then, our friendship started to pick up pace and we became good friends. We chatted a lot, hang out together, went for movies, had meals together very often. Sometimes, her sister, Hwa Shan would tag along as well. Believe me, her sister does not look like Hwa Yinn at all! Since we were taking the same course, we also sat together in classes and skipped classes together too. Besides, I will be helping her signing attendance all the time if she decides to skip or is late for classes. Yinn, admit it, I have signed your signature at least 50 times. Not that much actually, 49 times only.

Hwa Yinn is a hot chick from Port Dickson, currently residing in Seremban. She has a little square face shape, big eyes and a smile that is so sweet till the bees might think her smile is a flower. OK, that is exaggerating. Her forehead is quite broad for a girl but that also symbolizes she is a very intelligent person. Indeed, she is as she always scores good result for her examinations. She has a shoulder length hair, which she curled them not too long ago. Most of the time, she does not tie her hair; but when she does, she will tie them into a small bun at the back of the head. I do not know what name it is for the hairstyle, but it is one of my favourite hairstyles. Actually, it does turn me on, somehow! I find girls that tie such hairstyle look sexy. She wears contact lens all the time even though she does look good in specs also.

Although she does not have a figure like NeeNee does (Read : Breast and ass), but she does have a nice figure after all. However, I still do not understand why she keeps on saying she is fat and she needs to go on diet in order to slim down more. However, there is one significant body shape that no other girls have; her shoulder. Her shoulder is basically straight, horizontal, flat or whatever it is. It is possible to put a glass on her shoulder and not letting the glass falls down. It is that straight, horizontal, flat or whatever it is! Therefore, from our diagnosis, we concluded that it will be slightly difficult for the guy to hug her by her shoulders for long hours as the guy’s arm will be stretched out and straight all the time.

She is very friendly and very sociable. She has friends from final year students to pre-university students. She has friends that basically comes from and scattered all over the world. There is one weird phenomenon that always happens to her throughout her years in MMU. She always attracts a lot of foreign students from Africa, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Dubai and such that they will always try to ask her out for a cup of coffee, a movie or just chit-chatting in the car. As far as I know, there were 2 foreign students hated and fought with each other over her. Until now, I still cannot come up with any explanation on this phenomenon, can you? I wonder which part of her face that attracts so many foreign students.

She is very talkative too! She likes to talk and she can talk non-stop within two hours if she wants to. Not that bad actually, after all, girls are not able to keep quiet for more than 15 minutes, right? However, she manages to make me talk a lot whenever I go out with her and there will never be long, dull and silent moment with her around; considering the fact that I am a guy with less words and a totally boring guy. The amount of time I talk to Hwa Yinn in a two hours session is equivalent to a total of 20 hours session with NeeNee. Most of the time, she will talk about her problems regarding bout her friends in MMU, girls’ ranting, academic problems or just a normal conversation between friends. Basically, she is the only girl in MMU that will call me out for a “yamcha” session. We usually will go Coffee Bean in Jaya Jusco or some places that are not within Bukit Beruang area as she has this “special” habit when she wants to chill or relax.

I wanted to write more about her, as she plays an important role in my heart and also as an important friend that I have made in MMU. However, at 5:42AM and after nearly 9 hours of movie marathon, my eyes are a little tired. Therefore, before I end my post, let me take this opportunity to wish her happy birthday. I wish you all the best in your life and in every thing you do. May you stay that pretty, talkative, funny, attractive, lazy yet hardworking, cheerful, sociable, and popular all the time.

Happy birthday to Hwa Yinn.

Human Cloning? No Thanks!

July 28th, 2005, Jason

Yesterday was my first paper, ECT 1016 Circuit Theory, out of my four mid term examination papers. Although I did not do as good as I thought I could, but there is hope in it. Worse comes to worst, I can just apply to sit for the supplementary paper. I will talk to Mr. Alan tomorrow and see what is his advice before I make any decisions. Anyway, I went for my movie marathon alone, today after nearly 1 month since my last visit. The movies were “The Island“, “Stealth” and “Seven Swords” at student price – RM5 per movie.

I never have the habit of posting any movie reviews in my blog, for I believe my personal judgment on the movie will not be applicable to everyone. However, I strongly suggest you that you watch “The Island”. The storyline is very good and makes sense from every single bit and the action scenes are too good to be described with words. However, the main reason why I am suggesting this movie is not because of its storyline, action scenes or actors, but the idea behind human cloning.

All these while, I think that human cloning will bring more benefits to human compare to disadvantages. However, after watching this movie, I have second thoughts. I was speechless and dumbfounded when I saw the clones being operated on and killed for their organs. I was basically numbed and left me in a state of deep thinking as I watched the scene when the clone was screaming for help as he was being “opened up” for his lungs.

I do not know how to describe the feeling I had when I was watching the movie. I could only tell you that, human cloning technology is something that we, humans are not supposed to learn and explore, what more when we are trying to be God ourselves. In my SPM days, my Bahasa Malaysia composition on human cloning was one of the best in the class due to the facts, advantages and ideas that I have written. However, now, I have second opinion and I am going to disagree on anything about human cloning technology.

As for my personal rating for this movie, I would gladly give a 9/10. I am planning to watch the movie in the cinema again and thinking of getting the pDVD uncut version for this movie as part of my collection. –coughs- There is one scene in the movie that was cut away. –coughs-

P/S :

Before the movie starts, there is a warning to the audience that says the idea in this movie might not be acceptable to certain audience or something similiar to that. I advise that kids or teenagers below 15 years old should not watch the first 30-45 minutes of the movie. After that, it is purely an action and adventure movie.

Why cannot they just not show trailers of horror films? They scare the shit out of me each time, as I usually watch movies alone!

Jason’s Proposed Bloggers Gathering - Phase II

July 27th, 2005, Jason

After feedbacks from bloggers, it seems that plan #0010B is more practical. Therefore, I suggest the gathering to be held as follow.

Date : 5th of August, 2005 Friday

Time : 8PM

Location : Mid Valley Mega Mall, Kuala Lumpur

Venue : McDonalds at Lower Ground Floor. (Not the one near GSC.)

If you are attending and the suggested details are “OK” for you, do leave a comment so that we know who is attending and perhaps, might even attract more bloggers if the heavyweight bloggers like Twinsmom is attending.

If you have any problem or any better date, time and venue, do leave a comment and suggestion. If majority is not able to attend, then we can change the time, right?

If you have any suggestion for the name of the event, do leave your suggestion too! How can an event be held without a name, right?

Side notes :

Why Friday?
Saturday is a holiday for most of the employees. Therefore, Friday night is a good time to chill out or perhaps have a family day. Right? No?

Why 8M?
It is held at 8PM so that parents have sufficient time to reach home to bring their children along to the gathering. After all, there are quite a number of parents attending. Try not to be late. -wink- Is 8PM too early or not enough time for you?

Why Mid Valley?
I suppose it is quite convenient for most of the attendees.

Why McDonalds?
I love Big Mac and Orange Fizz. Kids get to eat fast foods, which usually parents do not let them eat! I am so good, I actually thought of your little ones; that is if your little ones have teeth and can eat solid food.

P/S :

Comments in the previous post have been replied as well.

Damn! I might not be able to get my broken specs fix on time or before my trip.

The War Between Giordano And Body Glove

July 26th, 2005, Jason

Warning : Lame post ahead. I am sorry about that. I am stressed, thanks to my mid term examination that will start in another 22 hours. I am not trying to copy / act / be or post something like our famous Kenny Sia.

My wardrobe, basically, consists of 10 Giordano’s plain colour basic T-shirt only. All the T-shirts have the same design, one colour and no patterns or designs on it. The colours that I have are light orange, bright red, water blue, black (It was a gift from Xiao Hui for my birthday, last year.), light blue, bright orange, grey (It is not in the picture. I left it at my hometown.), light yellow, bright yellow and a black one from the “Me” collection (It was a gift from NeeNee last year.). In fact, I have 3 generations of the same T-shirt.

The first generation of the T-shirt is that the logo of Giordano is printed on the T-shirt. It is something like the buttons where we see in blogs. It is a black and grey logo with the word “Giordano” across it.

If only the word “Giordano” is printed on the T-shirt, it is the second generation.

As for the third generation, the word “Giordano” is printed on the sleeves.

The other day, a new T-shirt from Body Glove joined my wardrobe. It seems that the Giordano gang is not very happy about it. After all, Mr. BG is not from Giordano and who will like a total stranger an alien to join a world that consists of only one species. Not long after I put Mr. BG with the others, something happened and thank God I saw it, else a blood tragedy would have happened in my room.

Apparently, the Giordano gang sent out Charlie#3 to assassinate Mr. BG in order to keep the world peaceful by eliminating the alien. Charlie#3 approached Mr. BG with a huge knife and said, “For world peace, I have to assassinate you!”

Mr. BG defended himself by using a spatula. He said, “Why cannot we just live peacefully? It is not like I am going to exterminate the whole Giordano race!”

“No! You are a threat to the Giordano race!” said Charlie#3 as he punches Mr. BG with his left hand.

Then Mr. BG grabbed hold of Charlie#3 and gave him a few punches on his head.

Then I saw it and went to stop both of them from fighting and said to Charlie#3, “You and the others better behave yourself. You should accept Mr. BG into your world; after all, NeeNee bought Mr. BG and gave it to me as a gift. Do not let me see this thing happen again. Else, you will have to bear the consequence.”

Charlie#3 said, “Yes, Master.”

After that, Mr. BG teased Charlie#3, “Yeah, I am bought by NeeNee. My status is higher than you all. Haha!”

Charlie#3 and others, “ ~!@#$%^&*()_+”
