Happy Birthday, Mum!
Today, 17/6 is my mum’s birthday.
P/S : You must be wondering
1) Why my mum’s birthday post is so short compare to my friends’, right?
I do not want to take the risk of getting my allowance being cut even by a mere RM10 just because I wrote something wrong. -lol-
2) Why there is no pictures of my mum, right?
Honestly, I do not have any pictures of my family members in my computer. -sweat-
3) What I bought for my mum as present, right?
Honestly, I have not and have planned not to buy any present for her. Even if I buy, she will say in sarcastic tone that the money that I use to buy the present is also her money. Chinese proverb says “羊毛出在羊身上”. She will be happy if I show her improvement in my results instead.

How about giving her homemade “book of tickets” e.g. good for 1 errand, good for 1 hour of housework, good for breakfast in bed, 1 car wash etc This is from your heart and effort not her money. My 6 year old gave me a whole booklet and I have treasured it ever since. I have collected on it a few times too :)

Nice to know your mother’s birthday is so close to father’s day. Did you ever celebrate the two special days at once?

I think your mum would be secretly joyful if she read this and know you remembered her birthday. Some people are so used to having to play the ‘bad guy’ or being misunderstood, they simply don’t know how to react when something/someone ‘touches’ them.

Percolater : Hmm, hopefully she does. As I really don’t know what to get her for present especially when I am very broke now. Hehe, I guess my dad is one of them. I am too, nothing interest me, but I wont show it even if I am interested, sad, happy or touched.
Mr. Kiasu : Thanks for your encouragement. Hopefully I will.
Jason : Nope. We don’t celebrate Mother’s/Father’s Day at all. Birthday is also celebrated by going out for a dinner and that’s it.
Auntie Lilian : She would be glad enough if I don’t touch anything in the kitchen. :D
Romantic : Hoho, good idea but I doubt it will come in use as well. All she need to do is shout at us and we are forced to do, with or without the coupons.
Tiu Nia Sing : Hopefully. ;)
To everybody : Thanks for wishing my mum. I say “Thank You” on behalf of her.
