Decision
I have to make a decision – To go back my own house or to stay back in Malacca?
Why I should go back Tampin?
I have not go back Tampin for about 2 months, since Chinese New Year (13/2) to be exact. My mum has requested my dad to ask me to come back. She misses me and just “pai seh” to say it out. –evil laughs-
I do not have to think of what to eat and eat take-away food anymore because I have home cooked food. My mum will do the thinking instead of me.
I get to sleep on my king size bed in my own room, may be I might get the permission to on the air conditioner as well. My sister said that my room still has the new house smell too. Hehe!
I do not have to spend my allowance on food, petrol, utilities and bills. Petrol is fully subsidized by my dad if and only when I am back in Tampin. Every thing is paid by my parents except for my own expenditure though.
I can meet up with my ex-classmates and hang out with them. It has been some time since I meet them and go “yam cha” together.
I get to hang out at my favourite hang out place again. Food and drinks are relatively cheap in Tampin. I spend at least 25-40% less when I am in Tampin.
Why I should stay back in Malacca?
I do not have to do the housework except cleaning up my own room. My maid has gone back to Indonesia, so I have to do the sweeping, mopping and laundry in Tampin. -grins-
I have Streamyx Screamyx here. I am so used to online 24/7 and I need to be plugged into the “matrix” all the time. I have to go cyber café to online if I go back Tampin. (I do not have dial up in my new house for some technical reason.) With all the noise in the café, I doubt I can concentrate with my chatting and blogging. Besides, it is RM2.50 per hour and the line will be freaking slow. I am not able to download my Gundam Seed : Destiny as well.
I can sleep at any time I want without being scolded by my mum. I can sleep when the sun rises and wake up when the sun is high up in the sky or when my ass is being burnt by the sun, whichever comes first. I can stay up till morning without being questioned.
I can eat any thing at any time, without waiting for my family or being nagged by my mum for eating too much or at odd hours. I get to eat “Nasi Lemak” at 5AM, “Dim Sum” at 6AM, “Duck Noodles” at 7AM, “Mixed Rice” and “Curry Chicken Rice” for lunch at 3 or 4PM, “Bah Kut Teh”, “Beef Soup”, “Pork Chop Rice”, “Duck Rice”, “Nasi Lemak” and a lot more for dinner at any time I want, from 6PM until 10PM, “Duck Noodles”, “Tong Sui”, “Barbecued Pork Rice”, “Satay Celup“, “Taiwan Hotdog”, “Fish Noodles”, “Mutton Satay” and a lot of “Mamak” stall to choose from, from 11PM until 3PM. Not to mention, I have McDonalds, Nando’s and Pizza Hut / US Pizza here. Sometimes, home cooked food just sucks especially when the dishes are not appealing.
I can go 7-11 to get my stuffs, drinks and even food at any time. There is no 24 hours shop in Tampin. The latest convenient shop opens until 1AM.
I do not have to bear with my mum’s constant nagging like :
“Now holiday time, please use your holiday to study for next trimester’s subjects.”
“Do not be so unproductive.”
“I also do not understand why you want to waste your time by sleeping until 12PM or 1PM.”
“Is it wise to spend your time in front of the television from the time you wake up until now?”
“You are fat enough, still want to have supper? Do not eat so much.”
“Every day go out ‘yam cha’ until 1AM, meaningful or not?”
“Can you please do the housework? Do not wait for me to ask you to do so.”
“Can you please park your car at the back of the house to avoid the sun?”
“Can you fetch your sisters to go tuition? Can you pick them up at 7PM and 9.30PM?”
“Go out and buy this for me. Photostat these documents as well.”
“Jason…!”
“Can you force your two sisters to practice their piano?”
“Can you please do not watch television? When you watch, your two sisters will be watching as well?”
“Off the television now!”
“What is the meaning of playing this stupid game? Fight here and there? 21 years old adult is still playing a 3 years old kid’s game.”
“Can you please help me do this?”
and a lot more… Endless nagging! -shakes head- -sweats-
I can go watch movie in the cinema at any time I want or do anything I want. I also do not have to be the driver for my mum and 2 sisters.
Decision! Decision! Please help me decide!
P/S : I am going back on Sunday morning because NeeNee is making home made sushi for me! I repeat, NeeNee is making sushi for Jason. However, I have yet to decide to stay back or come back to Malacca on Tuesday. I might not be blogging on Sunday and Monday. Stay tune!

Do you need to move back permanently or just a temporary decision?? To me, home is always the best. I remembered when i was in penang undergoing my industrial training for three months, i just couldn’t stand living alone and just wish i was back home. At that time, i was lonely…no TV, no yam char, no Internet. So if you want to stay in Malacca, make sure you have what you need and enjoy it….else just go home.

I usually stay put and not go home. But mainly because I do not get along with my parents. It’s also easier to tell them no, because I have the excuse that I cannot afford the plane ticket. Hehhe.
