My “Burnt” Lunch
My fingers did not feel like “talking” since yesterday, so there was no update last night. Anyway, I went out to “da pao” mixed rice for my lunch. I took a scoop of pork, potatoes and vegetable for my lunch. I was eating in front of the computer and talking to the wicked, evil Mun Kit. As I was about to put the vegetable into my mouth, my nose sensed a burnt smell from the vegetable. I hesitated and thought it could be my over sensitive nose.
Well, how wrong I was. The moment I put it into my mouth, the burnt smell was certified coming from the vegetable. I gobbled it down my throat and isolated the vegetable from my another 2 dishes. Immediately, my bad mood was up!
I hate my food/meal is not properly cooked or well, in this case, does not taste good! I hate my food has the burnt smell, taste funny or something is just not right about the flavour. I do not mind if it is a new dishes or something that I never eaten before, but it is just a simple stir fried “bak choi”. This showed how lousy is the chef in controlling the fire.
I hate this! It spoilt my afternoon mood! Damn! I shall get myself something nice to eat later.
Since 5xmom suggested that we form a community to make the blogsphere smaller, today I shall recommend Carol Tee’s My Miracles. Hahaa..i have a lot of experiences in bad dishes. I got pretty mad too, coz i pay for the food and it ended up tasting weird…Lost all the appetite to eat.
