Copyright War
Talk bout copyright issue, this little SYT named Carol Tee was hit hard right at her face yesterday. Her senior had sent her a graphic that is copyrighted by Miss Rellie, the webmistress of this particular site at Kawaiiness.com. Well, after Rellie stumbled upon her site, she was furiously mad when she saw her graphic was being used as Carol’s banner.
Therefore, Rellie after being sick of e-mailing the owner regarding bout this matter (She claimed so.), she widely published Carol’s website at her own site under the section of “Hall Of Shame” and acused her of being a thief in the chatter box. She did not privately e-mailed Carol to request her to remove the graphic within the next 24 hours, instead she was being very hostile towards Carol. Now, although Carol was wrong for using a copyrighted graphic and the graphic was sent by her senior, Rellie should not have acused her in public and made a big fuzz about it or even acused other people as thief. She even posted Carol’s website and asked her visitors to flame Carol.
Carol removed the graphic within the next 1 hour, but still, Rellie and her supporters were still at Carol’s website flaming her. Now, what the fcuk that b!tch is! I was furious due to the way how Rellie handled this matter. Even when James from Loopy Meals was requested to remove the picture of Barney - the purple dinosour, he was given 24 hours to do so. Although Carol made mistake in the first place, she has corrected her mistake and apologized. While on the other hand, Rellie did not want to let her get through this easily.
Rellie, you could have handle this matter in a more matured way, but you chose to make me lose respect for you.

i can tolerate the use of my graphics if credits are given.. bcoz i use graphics from other sites sparingly too. intellectual property is damn hard to protect.. but the way rinnie(?) handled the situation was a bit too much

I can understand how annoyed one must feel when their work is stolen and put up on another’s page as a banner but surely there’s a less hostile way of settling matters. This method should be reserved as a last resort only IMHO!
