My housemates and I went to Jeremy’s open house today at 1PM sharp. After wishing his parents “Gong Xi Fatt Chai” and “Happy Chinese New Year”, we started our feast which were typically Indian food, those that you can find in an Indian banana leaf restaurant. I felt a little bit funny about it because we are in a Chinese house, doing our Chinese New Year house visiting but eating Indian food. Talk about multi racial society, only Malaysia has it and I am very proud of it. To make things better, I wanted to treat myself to a banana leaf session the following Tuesday with a friend of mine and I think I can push forward the plan.

Back to the topic, I filled up my plates like a little hill and felt humilated when Vincent has a higher hill than mine.Nevermind,I could beat him in the second round. Yes, I did. After 2 rounds of eating, we shoved aside the plates and started to “buka meja”. We started off with “Black Jack” and I was the banker. First round and I lost RM10 already. What the heck! Since I have no more modal, Jeremy took over the pleasure. Since then, my luck changed. I got black jack for 5 continuous time and won the next few round. After everyone has their turn as banker, we switched the game into “In Between” which was indeed exciting and yet dissapointing. After we finished a round of “In Between”, “Black Jack” was up again. At 3PM,Aellyno and Vincent left the crowd first to proceed to Mahkota Parade for their “Seoul Raiders” movie. We continued the game until nearly 5PM. I lost RM1 while Raymond won nearly RM20 after 3 hours of gambling. Did I tell you that everyone only bet a maximum of RM0.50 and it was only me who bet RM2 or RM3. Nevermind, tonight we shall play mahjong.

Stepping out of the house, it was freaking hot and I decided to skip my work today. Did I tell you that his house was designed by the same interior designer that designed my house? His house is also wood based and is 10 times better and more beautiful than mine. I shall try to snap some picture if can. I supposed to check into work at 11AM and I did not because I need to go back campus for a meeting which I overslept through it. Now, looking at the sun, I decided to stay home instead of going back to Jusco Melaka to work. Besides, I am a bit fed-up with my boss. So, here I am, writing a post on how I spent my afternoon.
