My New House

After 3 continuos posts about NeeNee, it is time to go back to some normal and daily stories before my visitors get sick about her and decide to boycott my blog. Why do I say so? Its because Twinsmom and 5xmom both did not leave any comment on the latest post, which is kind of odd especially for 5xmom as Auntie Lilian is the one who always leave comment on my posts. Besides, she said I have improved a little bit and I do not want to dissapoint her as well, not to mention my other visitors like Abdul, Alicia, Chris and others. You people are the ones that give me the motivation to blog. Therefore, no cheers but “yam seng”.

“Yaaaaaaammmmmmm Senggggg~!” *Ribena for Abdul!*

Last Sunday, I went back to my hometown - Tampin. If you do not know where is Tampin, it is ok. Nobody blames you as it is a very small border town, which the main road is only about 2km long. The easiet way to describe the location is A’ Famosa Golf Resort and Water World. This should be a good landmark for you if you want to come to Tampin to visit me. For your information, my family has bought and shifted into a new house not long ago, about 3 weeks ago on 1st of January 2005. We completely moved into the house on 3rd of January 2005, which I was not there to join them as I was in Malacca working and studying. Therefore, it was my first time stepping into my new house after everything was completed in and out. I went back not because of the house but to celebrate NeeNee’s birthday. -blek-

My house is a double storey terrace house, situated at the far far end of an existing housing estate. My housing area is named Taman Bukit Indah and there are only 41 houses, in order to avoid the quota requirement set by the goverment. For your information, if a new housing estate is to be build, a quota for Malays has to be followed. Therefore, these developers were smart enough to avoid the requirement and thus, the houses were only available through invitation. Yes, I repeat it again, through invitation. Most of the family that stay in this housing area are members from Rotary Club of Tampin and my father is a member. Look out for him under the member section - Lioh Cheng Lim. If you have extra time, do compare my picture with him and you did be amazed with it.

My house is designed by my dad’s schoolmate who likes to use woods in his design. As you can see from the picture, most places are wood related design. Hopefully there will be no termites else we shall be in deep shit. Touchwood! Everything in the house are new, from the living room to the kitchen and from the furnitures to the bed sheets. Yeap, everything is new and only a few cupboards managed to survive and continue to serve us in our new home. I did not manage to snap much picture as I was kind of busy on that day and my photography skill is totally noob. I will upload more pictures when I get back this weekend, hopefully as I do not like to go back to my hometown for certain reasons.

I shall upload some lousy shot pictures first with a little description. I shall reblog about my new house once I go back to check out and understand my new house inside out. Why I use the word understand is because everything in the house, the designer sure has a reason for it, from the wall and to the mirrors, from the lighting to the tiles and even the arrangement for the furnitures. For the mean time, hope you can give your two cents on my new house based on the blur pictures I uploaded.
